U.S. "Deep State" Doesn’t Want End To Syria War

CNN fake news, MSM stooges continue to spew ludicrous lies trying to shore-up bogus Douma "gassing"

The Islamic State (IS) has been defeated in Syria root and square, but the war hasn’t ended yet and it might not end as long as the American war machine continues to pound both directly and in-directly.

CNN fake news continues to prop-up CIA/ISIS
to cover for their war crimes
While the American war machine’s involvement in the war and its stubborn refusal to leave makes it clear that the war was never simply a part of the agenda to defeat terrorism and that it had—and continues to—more to do with regional geo-politics, the recent most events related to this crisis have once again proved that geo-politics and the imperatives of containing both Russia and Iran remain the primary push factors, keeping the US perennially locked into Syria, and allowing the war machine, which is allied with the Western mainstream corporate media and has allies in the White House, to continue to project Assad as ‘devil’ and Russia a sponsor and protector of ‘evil.’

As of today, the entire western world is apparently shaking with the ‘horrors’ of chemical attacks by Syria’s Assad on its own people. But, as is often said, this western madness over the manufactured attack has a certain method.

Most importantly, the attack reflects the way the US war machine is orchestrating the ‘horrors of war’ to keep the US war-economy afloat and the region dipped in conflict.

Therefore, just when the US president Donald Trump had started to talk about withdrawing the US military from Syria, the news of a chemical attack struck his ‘good intentions’, forcing him to promise a strong military response to Assad. This, however, isn’t that simple enough, considering that such a withdrawal was never actually going to happen even if Trump was himself serious about it. The president and his generals differ on what victory means.

As such, while Trump wanted to withdraw, the Pentagon was preparing, as reports in the Western media said, to actually send dozens of additional troops to Syria, but was caught off-guarded by the Trump announcement, and has now orchestrated the chemical attack to take the initiative away from him and revamp the crisis. And, the Pentagon, explicitly representing the US deep state’s agenda, has succeeded in doing that.

Is it fake? "White Helmets" alleged chemical attack footage leaves several unanswered questions

How could the ‘deep state’ reconcile that easily to Trump’s positive overtures to ending the war in Syria and even inviting Russia’s Vladimir Putin to the White House? Such a meeting could have possibly revived the possibility of joint US-Russia peace initiative in Syria, and could have further made Donald Trump a party to the Russia-Iran-Turkey led peace process.

But such a step could have also rendered further continuity of war meaningless and left Pentagon’s plans of increasing US military presence counter-productive. Therefore, to make its plans productive and to prolong the war, the White Helmets, the latest manifestation of propaganda war through ‘humanitarian services’, were brought to service once again.

As such, while Trump seems to have sensed that by re-allying with Russia, the US position could be revamped in Syria; his generals seem to think that such a strategy could bring a defeat of the US objectives. The generals, as many of them have indicated many times, think ‘true victory’ lies in militarily staying in the game. Therefore, for them, Trump’s willingness to opt withdrawal could never bring the US a clear victory.

In fact, this is how the US military’s war-fighting doctrine defines victory. The document concludes that actual winning is not an absolute victory, but “more of a continuum”, a prolongation of fighting and an endless war waged both directly and indirectly.

In this context, this is exactly what the US war machine has once again done in Syria. Just when the US president was hinting at the possibility of reaching a negotiated end of the crisis, the news of chemical attack war broken and a new continuum was added, leading even the President to warn of military action and grave consequences.

But the US ‘deep state’ is not worried just because Trump is willing to talk to the Russians; their true source of worry is the way Russia-Iran-Turkey triangle has been successful, despite western hopes of divergences, in consolidating its position in Syria by synching their interests on a number of aspects of the war.

CNN: Non-stop, 24/7 fake news

Consider this: the recently concluded Astana summit made it explicitly clear that none of the parties to the summit was either interested in territorially dividing Syria among themselves or allow the US and its allies do the same. The statement said, alluding to the US, that “all attempts to create new realities on the ground under the pretext of combatting terrorism” were to be opposed and stand rejected by the coalition. This opposition also means that the triangle equally opposes a US military presence, whether open-ended or close-ended, in Syria.

Now, with Trump potentially seeking a withdrawal and expressing his willingness to let others do the rest of the job, for the ‘deep state’, this is like surrendering Syria to the Russians and their allies and accepting defeat at their hands—something that can never be acceptable to the US generals and war mongers, who, as indicated earlier, are heavily inclined to prolongation of the wars the US is involved in.

CNN knows that when the Syria music stops the only seats left for them will be in the dock at The Hague War Crimes Tribunal

The potential dramatic impact of the (fake) news of chemical attacks has been that the US president has now moved away from inviting Putin to the White House to an inch closer to directly confronting Russia. Nothing else could have been more satisfying for the ‘deep state’ than seeing their success in considerably slowing down, if not all together killing, the prospects of US-Russia co-operation in Syria to end the war.

U.S. "Can’t Comment" On Whether It Has Samples From Douma "Chemical Attack"

The US Department of State acknowledged Tuesday that it “can’t comment” on whether or not it has samples from Douma where Washington, Paris and London alleged that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad gassed his own people.

Nauert
"I can't comment on that," State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert told reporters on Tuesday when asked if the US has samples of the evidence showing chemical weapons were used.

The US believes that the nerve agent sarin was used along with chlorine gas in the recent attack on the city of Douma on the outskirts of Damascus, Nauert said in the briefing. "We have information that leads us to believe that both chlorine and sarin were used in the attack," Nauert said.

US State Department sources said the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) inspection team has not been able to enter the Syrian city of Duma yet to conduct an independent investigation, the spokesperson said.
"Our sources, which [we] consider to be reliable, indicate that the team has not yet been able to enter Douma," Nauert stated. "That is our understanding of the situation as of right now."

Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said in an earlier statement that Western media claims that Russia allegedly "blocked" OPCW entry into Douma are unscrupulous.

Nauert also said that sanctions against Moscow "are not off the table, we just don't have anything to announce at this time." On Sunday, US ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley, said sanctions were imminent, but the the White House and the Treasury Department ultimately didn't follow through.

The Indonesian government has expressed concern following the missile attacks launched by the United States military in Syria in response to the alleged chemical weapon attack in a Syrian city.

"Indonesia expresses concern over a unilateral attack conducted by any party, including the use of Tomahawk missiles in response to a chemical weapon attack strategy in Syria," Foreign Affairs Ministry Spokesman Arrmanatha Nasir said in a press briefing in the ministrys office in Jakarta on Friday. Indonesia also rejected the use of chemical weapons by any party and for any purpose. "The US Tomahawk missile attacks on Syria were in response to the situation in Syria due to a chemical attack two days ago."

"Of course, Indonesia strongly condemns the use of chemical weapons in Syria, which resulted in many victims, including children," he pointed out.

"A military action undertaken without the approval of the Security Council of the United Nations is not in line with the principles of international law in resolving a conflict peacefully, as stated in the Charter of the United Nations," he added.

For Indonesia, peace and stability in Syria can only be achieved through dialogue, an inclusive political process, which emphasizes that all parties refrain from any attack, halt all acts of violence, and respect and protect human rights.

Peace can only be reached by resolving conflicts through diplomacy and protection, he added.

"We expect that humanitarian access continues to remain available so that humanitarian aid can enter Syria," Arrmanatha said.

He further said Indonesian Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi also continues to coordinate with the Permanent Representative at the United Nations in New York and the Indonesian Ambassador in the United States to emphasize that Indonesia continues to urge the UN Security Council to take immediate actions to solve problem in Syria.

Senseless And Futile Strike Against Syria Achieves Nothing

CNN, BBC fake news apoplectic at the complete failure of their false-flag propaganda campaign

The West’s unity is cracking and the United States’ world leadership is being questioned. The alleged but never proven “chemical attack” in Syria offers an opportunity to become a unifying factor.

By striking that country, the US administration pursued the goal of solidifying its image as the world number one leading other nations in an effort to stand up to “evil”. It wanted to display the West’s unity, bolster its standing in the Middle East and boost the president’s approval ratings at home.

Russia was portrayed as a rogue state backing the “animal” Assad and allied with Iran to pose a common threat. Has the mission been accomplished?

The world did not rush to display its support. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres wants no escalation in Syria.

China opposed the use of force. Indonesia expressed concern over the attack not mandated by the UN. Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic warned the strikes could lead to a global conflict. Bolivian President Evo Morales slammed the act of aggression.

Formally, NATO approved the strikes but reservations followed regarding the stance on Russia. For instance, German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier warned against demonizing Moscow on April 15 saying that there should be no animosity between the West and Russia amid growing tensions. He insists a dialogue should be maintained. Germany approved the operation but refused to participate.

Once again "White Helmets," BBC/CNN fake news CIA propagandists use children as props in bogus Douma "gas attack"

British opposition Labor Party leader Jeremy Corbyn criticized the move and said the UK joined the strikes under US pressure. Only a quarter of Britons approve the UK’s participation in the operation. 43% of them disapprove it.

French President Macron has come under criticism from the right as well as from the left for his decision to join the operation. Italy refused to let the allies use its territory for launching the strikes. Luxembourg's Foreign Minister Jean Asselborn questioned the legality of the attack. The SYRIZA party, the larger member of Greece’s ruling coalition, condemned the strikes. Finland, Cyprus and Switzerland expressed concern over the use of force against Syria. Finland's Foreign Minister Timo Soini still believes peace would have a chance in Syria if international law were observed.

"Little Napoleon" Macron pulls a Mussolini, getting in on the attack clutching Trump's skirts and under the protection of U.S. military hardware as "Mother Merkel" approves but balks at German participation in strike

There was no unanimous support of the attack inside the US. The move came under harsh criticism from the two sides of the aisle. The influential Arms Control Association slammed the strikes as a short-sighted and illegal action, violating domestic legislation and international law.

The largest Arab nations did not approve the strikes. The Iraqi government believes that the strikes marked "a very dangerous development" to give terrorists another opportunity to strengthen their positions. Egypt expressed "deep concern" saying the strikes undermined the prospects for peace in Syria. Algeria condemned the move. Lebanon raised its voice to strongly oppose the act of aggression.

CNN fake news shills and covers for CIA "White Helmets" while screeching for WWIII and nuclear war with Russia

The military one-off operation rather divides than unites the world, including the “collective West”. The British government has failed to rally popular support. Instead, it made its position weaker than it had been. The NATO, as well as EU, backing was mainly vocal. Only three nations actually joined the operation. The contribution of Great Britain and France was very limited. The US administration is in for a lot of questions on its strategy in Syria.

The legality of the act is universally questioned and many governments realize that international law does not protect anyone from US-led attacks and prompts them seek to weapons to defend themselves. As Syria’s experience shows, Russia has a lot to offer not only as arms supplier but also as an alternative pole of power.

The situation in Syria has not changed. Its government retains the capability to continue its successful offensive on all fronts. The strikes have not diminished Moscow’s and Tehran’s unswerving support of Damascus. The air strike has achieved nothing. It only demonstrated how limited is the US ability to influence the events in Syria, putting into question its claims to global leadership.
