Journalists reporting from Turkey and the Middle East are now experiencing increasing difficulties in collecting viable and accurate intelligence in Syria and Iraq in what has become one of the most intense propaganda wars of recent years.

Russian military jet shot down by Turkish forces |
This war has expanded into a battle between the so-called "mainstream media" and independent media, with government and corporate media propagandists levelling the charge of "fake news" at legitimate independent news bureaus and their journalists who report the truth.
This war of words, lies against the truth will be waged in the print media and forward trenches of the internet.
This very scenario occurred when an unexpected airstrike hit Turkish front lines in Syria last week during which three Turkish soldiers were killed and what makes this story compelling was the day it happened.
The Syrian Front
On November 24 2015 the Turkish Air Force (TUAF) shot down an RFAF aircraft, and it now appears that the anniversary of this incident was an opportune time for Russia to retaliate evan as overtures of cooperation take place between Turkey and Russia.
Warmongering Turkish "neocons" have suggested that the 2016 incident could lead to a ground war in Syria.

CNN and other "mainstream media" outlets have accused the Syrian regime as the "perpetrators" of the recent airstrike, while the Turkish government and military were unexpectedly tempered and calm in their response suggesting the Syrian regime may not be responsible for the incident and their malfeasance only a "possibility." Turkish citizens were confused and surprised regarding the silence of the government and President Erdogan following the incident, as under normal circumstances such an event could have instantly become a very important and strong weapon for internal and foreign politics for Erdogan to blame Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
Erdogan's unresponsive reaction was something totally new and unprescedented.
CNN and the "mainstream media" immediately made dire predictions as to Erdogan's reaction and were once again proven to be totally wrong.
The expected "gossip" that unveiled the mystery over the incident finally came from Russian's Sputnik news media yesterday, their coverage generally consisting of the truth in countering CIA and MI6 propaganda.
According to the Russian
Nezavisimaya journal, the air strike against the Turkish Army in Syria which resulted in three Turkish military deaths could very well have been a provocation by "coalition forces" led by the U.S. The report claims that Russian president Vladimir Putin mediated between Turkey and Syria and prevented a possible war between the two countries.
According to the Sputnik's quote from Nezavisimaya they underlined the intense telecom traffic between Ankara and Moscow last weekend. According to Sputnik military sources, Erdogan's call to Moscow was all about this air strike. The report, highlighted in the Turkish mainstream media put the blame on Syria and predicted a large scale extensive war between Turkey and Syria.
Nezavisimaya sources reported that Putin convinced Erdogan that the Syrian regime and Russia had no links to the incident.
Nezavisimaya's exclusive clearly alleged that coalition forces led by the U.S. attempted this very dangerous provocation on the anniversary of the day the Turkish Army shot down a RFAF aircraft
According to Nezavisimaya and local news sources, neither Moscow nor Damascus was behind the air strike.
The incident and aftermath has further eroded the already strained relations between Turkey and NATO.
24/11/2015: Another CIA Provocation
When the shoot-down of the RFAF plane occurred a year ago Turkish citizens were extremely concerned about the possibility of war with Russia while Turkish "neocon" authors were unexpectedly calling for moderation and calmness and for the government to solve the problem through dialog as tempers flared.
Turkey and Russia became real enemies within few days and ultranationalist tendencies became dominant in both countries. The Turkish government explanation for the downing was a "violation of engagement protocol" against Russian aircraft that were accused of frequently violating Turkish airspace.
Russian military authorities denied the airspace breaches and Russian authorities stated their aircraft were "passively" passing through Turkish airspace in order to target ISIS front lines while the duration of the incursions never exceed a few minutes and were not hostile in intent.
Citizens of both countries were confused, Turkey as Russia were traditional friends.
Turkish military experts, former generals, commodores and journalists have been jailed and liquidated with fake evidence and spurious accusations levelled by Fethullah Gulen, a CIA operative being shielded by the Obama administration from deportation to Turkey to stand trial.
Retired General Türker Ertürk states that the shoot-down was warmongering and a provocation in a very polemic column:
"...our border that Russian aircraft has allegedly violated is an imaginary border from North to South, a border that's been riddled for 4.5 years. There's not even a legal entity [guarding the] border and customs entry because of our misguided foreign policy."
Of course Ertürk and everyone else in Turkey knew that Erdogan and former Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu were competing with each other at taking responsibility for shooting down the Russian jet and then calling on NATO to protect Turkish soveringty and borders.
Davutoglu was a favorite of the Obama administration with his controversial, sectarian Middle East policy during his foreign ministry mission and as such Erdogan appointed him as his heir apparent, Prime Minister and President of AKP (Justice and Development Party).
There is wide public speculation that Erdogan decided to axe Davutoglu after his post-shoot down performance as a necessary and expedient sacrifice.
Public speculation grew exponentially that the Turkish F-16 pilot who shot down the Russian plane was follower of
the terror organisation FETO and connected to the CIA.
From 11/24/2015 to 7/15/2016 Turkey became strategically weaker in the region and had to witness and even contribute to U.S. imperialist policies in Syria and Iraq with no allies.
Kurdish forces became much more powerful and declared autonomy in some towns at northern Syria while at the ams time discussing the possibility of a merger with Barzani Kurdistan, the opening of a corridor from the Iraqi oil fields to Mediterranean Sea and creation of a satellite state: Kurdistan.
Accordingly, Turkey became more dependent upon NATO and had to revise it's Syria policy in line with the U.S. and it's "coalition" forces. Economic and military cooperation between Turkey, Iran and Russia was severely impacted as a result.
It is clear now that the 2015 shoot-down incident was a FETO provocation and the failed coup attempt demonstrates that FETO is a CIA creation.
Erdogan is now attempting to repair relations with Russia and their allies while discussing and evaluating an exit from NATO and joining the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
Turkish citizens have had enough of the Obama administration, CIA skullduggery and their endless "war on terror," and now firmly believe that if NATO does not serve the interests of Turkey as a sovereign state they are more than prepared to go it alone regardless of the outcome.
