Yet more war crimes to add to the list of charges Obama and his Pentagon maniacs will be answering for at The Hague

On September 17, the US-led coalition carried out a number of airstrikes against the Syrian army by the town of Deir ez-Zor. Despite the White House’s statements that the strike had been made by mistake, more and more facts have emerged proving Washington’s actions were intentional.
The locals told the Syria Inside Media Center how the US prepared and carried out the operation in Deir ez-Zor.
According to witnesses, just a couple of days before the bombing a drone appeared to observe the Syrian army positions and the maneuvers of ISIS the US allegedly intended to strike.
Having analyzed the events, we can divide the American operation into three stages which prefigured a deliberate bombing of the Syrian positions.
During the first strike lasting about an hour the first line of defense was attacked. The second stage saw defensive structures and heavy weaponry (three tanks, two IFVs, several guns and mortars) destroyed. Amid that, the US drones were killing wounded Syrian soldiers trying to flee the airstrike area.
As the government troops noticed, just after the first strike, ISIS terrorists rushed to take back their lost positions. Meanwhile, Americans indifferently kept observing the militants’ offensive as their drones kept circling above the area.
Besides that, a group of 40-50 militants, which was presumably moving towards ISIS as a reinforcement, was spotted by the al-Tin oil field.
The British, cheerfully playing second-banana imperialists, have been complicit politically and militarily in practically all US crimes in the Middle East and elsewhere since the turn of the century. France—to its shame— has been filling a lesser but expanding role. The old colonialist reflex dies hard.
The locals also noticed a peculiar fact. ISIS terrorists didn’t shoot at the Syrian helicopter above Deir ez-Zor while the US aviation was carrying out its strikes. Witnesses suppose the militants acted in cooperation with Americans, and that’s why they didn’t open fire fearing to shoot down the US drones or other Washington-led coalition aircraft.
It’s evident that the new facts confirm the opinion, which is quite widespread now in Syria, that the US and its allies were acting deliberately at Deir ez-Zor. This evil game of Washington undermines even the faintest hopes for peace in Syria.
