Colin Powell Backs Iran Deal As Congress Prepares For Vote

What is this war criminal doing spouting off in yet another "WMD" speech? WHY is he not sitting in the dock at The Hague? WHY are the "mainstream media" treating him as if he has ANY CREDIBILITY AT ALL?

By Lisa Mascaro

Momentum continued to build for the Iran nuclear deal Sunday with backing from Republican former Secretary of State Colin Powell, just as Congress prepares to launch a debate likely to end with a highly partisan vote.

Have Americans already forgotten about THIS?
The Republicans who control Congress almost unanimously oppose the accord, which was negotiated by the White House and diplomats from other leading nations to curtail Iran's nuclear ambitions.

But with a large majority of Democrats supporting the deal, President Obama is all but assured of the votes to prevent opponents from blocking it.

Another top Democrat, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz of Florida, the party's chairwoman, announced Sunday she would back the deal.

Her support is significant because she represents a Florida district with many Jewish voters who worry about the threat Iran poses to Israel. The Israeli government has been a leading force in opposing the deal.

Although a number of House Democrats have not yet declared their position, Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi has said she is confident of having the votes to sustain the deal in that chamber. Democrats already have enough support on record to do so in the Senate.

Have Americans already forgotten that both of these
war criminals have bankrupted the U.S. economy
and brought America to the brink of WWIII?
Powell served as national security advisor to President Reagan and chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff under President George H.W. Bush, in addition to his tenure as secretary of State under George W. Bush, but his backing of the deal is not likely to sway any Republican votes. Views have hardened as the issue has become polarized along party lines.

However, his statement gives backers of the diplomatic effort a boost from a popular and well respected former general who has come to represent a more moderate wing of the GOP.

Explaining the details of the deal on NBC's "Meet the Press," Powell said it would slow Iran's march toward developing the components needed to build a nuclear bomb.

"We have stopped this highway race that we were going down, and I think that's very, very important," Powell said.

"Even if we were to kill this deal, which is not going to happen, it would take effect anyway, because all of these other countries that were in it with us are going to move forward," Powell said. Five other nations -- Britain, Germany, France, Russia and China -- are aligned with the U.S. on the deal.

Why in the world would Americans trust an
interview with Powell conducted by NBC?
Congress returns this week for what is expected to be a fiery debate culminating in votes in the House and Senate on a resolution to disapprove the deal. If the resolution passes both houses, Obama has vowed to veto it, and Democrats currently have the votes to sustain his veto.

The House is expected to vote by Friday and the Senate by Sept. 17. Wasserman Schultz, like many in Congress, said she had struggled with her decision.

"It has been a simultaneous exercise in sober, fact-based analysis and emotional soul-searching," she said.

At this point, he main suspense in the congressional action is whether Democrats will muster the 41 votes in the Senate needed to block the disapproval resolution from even reaching the president's desk.

Sixty votes are needed to break a filibuster, and Republicans, with their 54-seat majority, remain some votes short of the number of Democrats they would need to hit that mark.

Have Americans already forgotten our military dead as a result of the illegal wars started by Bush, Cheney, Rice, Powell and Rumsfeld?

Republicans, including Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, have warned Democrats not to filibuster the resolution.

Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) on Saturday offered to forgo the filibuster if Republicans would agree to a procedure in which 60 votes would be needed to pass the resolution, instead of the usual simple majority.

Powell AND OBAMA would do well to remember THIS

McConnell may not take Reid up on the offer. He is hoping that some Democrats who say they will back the deal will nonetheless balk at supporting a filibuster, giving him a chance to get the disapproval resolution passed with fewer than 60 supporters.

Migration : New Downfall Of Occident

A classic case of overreach by Merkel, Juncker, Lagarde and the banksters that will result in their own destruction as Europe erupts in flames - and there is nothing they can do now to stop it

By Vladimir Nesterov

The autumn came to Germany with German punctuality - on September 1. Only the day before people were groaning under the 30-degree heat, but on Tuesday morning they had to put on their jackets and take umbrellas out. But the migrants don’t care about schedules. Their flow is continuous.

Since the days of Hannibal Europe has not seen such an invasion from Libya as in the recent weeks and months. Nobody can tell how many asylum seekers from former Yugoslavia and war-torn Syria are there in the forests of Serbia near Macedonian border. Six to seven thousand people enter Macedonia each day on their way to Germany. Border guards don’t mind: they get 5 euros from each illegal migrant to let them pass.

The way is clear.

On September 1, Hungarian authorities closed Budapest’s main station Keleti to 3650 refugees and migrants who wanted to be transported to Germany. The day before due to police connivance hundreds of migrants left Budapest for Munich.

Two days before that Hungary had finished erecting a 175km (109-mile) razor wire fence at the border with Serbia. The majority of refugees don’t want to stay in countries like Hungary or Greece, they try hard to get to Germany or Sweden.

Over three thousand migrants attracted by higher that French standards of living in the United Kingdom are camped at the port of Calais close to Eurotunnel.

The hoards descend on Calais looking for a free ride on the backs of the UK middle class

Each day there are more signs of this flood that drowns Europe. The cause and the actions are the burning issues.

In early August, Milos Zeman, the President of the Czech Republic, spoke of the problem very explicitly: "The current wave of migration [to Europe] is rooted in the crazy [US] idea to launch an intervention in Iraq, which allegedly had weapons of mass destruction, but nothing was found" but "it is not only the United States who is to blame for this, because some EU member states coordinated the operations against Libya."

The Iraq war criminals: current crisis has it's roots in Bush bogus "war on terror"

Under the influence of this "crazy idea" (only if there is no hidden agenda in this madness) whole countries turn into ungoverned territories with no state power. Traditional social links cease to exist and fragile peace between Muslims and Christians is broken. Inside the Muslim Ummah the tacit truce between traditional believers and advocates of modernization has gone to pieces.

Blair is the originator of current UK "migrant" flood
As a result of the US intervention, nationalists and extremists of every stripe have gotten access to weaponsin their mangled countries. Political vacuum caused by wars, "Arab Spring" and other similar disasters allowed them to seize the power.

It all leads to economic devastation, spread of poverty and progressing instability. War and death are omnipresent. Thousands of people in North Africa, the Middle East, the Balkans and Ukraine become refugees.

The ocean prevents them from getting to the United States, but they can make it to Europe. The island of Lampedusa is close. Bulgarian, Greek and Serbian border guards are happy to take euros.

According to official statistics, the number of asylum seekers in Europe has tripled between 2008 and 2014. In 2015, Germany alone expects more refugees than the whole Europe a year before. There is a split inside the European Union. French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius called "scandalous" the reluctance of some Eastern European countries to "respect Europe's common values" and accept more migrants. In her turn, German Chancellor Angela Merkel assured that Germany "will manage" to continue receiving refugees but it wanted the EU to work out a fair distribution process. Unfortunately, nobody knows what Germany considers to be "fair."

as a result of his CIA/ISIS proxy war in Syria
The public opinion in the EU member-states is divided. The number of those who oppose immigration is growing.

In Germany there have been over 200 attacks on refugee centers since the beginning of the year.

Evidently, a "fair" refugee distribution system in European Union would not solve the problem – a universal accord between all 28 EU member-states on this issue is unreachable.

On the other hand, the refusal of a EU member to comply with the quotas set by the European Commission will set a serious precedent. Meanwhile, time to solve the issue that caught Europeans off-guard is running out.

The cold indifference with which the North Atlantic ally is witnessing the European crisis is very eloquent. While the number of migrants is measured in hundreds of thousands, the EU is destined to face the problems of social tension and the politicians, who supported the US intervention in the countries where refugees come from, are in for hard times. But once this number changes to millions of destitute people invading Europe, the European civilization will see its last days.

Will Germany now see the rise of another Hitler as a result of Merkel's actions?

That is something the history has already seen. Ancient Rome was destroyed and the antic culture vanished during the Migration Period. The West was left in decline for many centuries. One left to wonder if Europe is in for a new edition of the Dark Ages?

Hit By New Wave Of Refugees : Germany Warns EU Partners

Nazi Merkel and collaborator Hollande smoking crack; both hallucinate that they can somehow force EU countries to take on mess they have created in transparent attempt to import slave labor to replace EU workers

By Paul Carrel and Georgina Prodhan

Struggling to cope with record numbers of asylum seekers, Germany told its European partners on Monday they must also take in more refugees, as Hungarian police used pepper spray on desperate migrants who broke out of a reception center at the border.

If the EU was not up in smoke before, it certainly
is now
Chancellor Angela Merkel, speaking after a weekend in which 20,000 migrants entered Germany from Hungary by train, bus and on foot, described the influx as "breathtaking" and tried to reassure German citizens that the crisis was manageable. "I am happy that Germany has become a country that many people outside of Germany now associate with hope," she said at a news conference in Berlin. What isn't acceptable in my view is that some people are saying this has nothing to do with them," Merkel said. "This won't work in the long run. There will be consequences although we don't want that."

Gabriel said that if countries in eastern Europe and elsewhere continued to resist accepting their fair share of refugees, the bloc's open border regime, known as Schengen, would be at risk.

"This would be a dramatic political blow for Europe, but also a heavy economic blow, also for those countries that are saying they don't want to help now," he said.

The personification of  hubris: Merkel and collaborator
Hollande somehow believe they can FORCE other EU
countries to house and pay for invaders
At Roszke, on Hungary's border with Serbia, around 300 migrants broke through a cordon around a reception camp and set off down the wrong side of the motorway towards the capital Budapest, Reuters witnesses said.

Police were unable to prevent their escape despite using pepper spray as migrants scuffled with officers.

Only months after Europe narrowly averted a Greek exit from the euro zone, the refugee crisis has emerged as the bloc's biggest challenge.

European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker is due to unveil new proposals on Wednesday on how to distribute refugees among member states.

An EU source told Reuters that under his plan, Germany would take on more than 40,000 and France 30,000 of the 160,000 asylum seekers the Commission says need to be relocated from Italy, Greece and Hungary, the main entry points to the EU for refugees arriving by sea and land.

The 160,000 that Juncker wants to redistribute within the EU are just a fraction of the hundreds of thousands of refugees and economic migrants from Asia, Africa and the Middle East who have reached Europe this year on leaky boats across the Mediterranean or over land through the Balkan peninsula.

Having digested the loot from Greece, Merkel and Juncker will now embark upon the Final Solution to the EU problem

Germany has announced it is letting Syrians seek asylum regardless of where they enter the EU, suspending normal rules and accelerating a flow of migrants north and west from the edges of the bloc.

Just last month, more than 100,000 asylum seekers reached Germany, which is preparing for 800,000 this year, around one percent of its population, a move with little precedent for a large Western country.

Britain would resettle 20,000 refugees from Syria over the next five years, Prime Minister David Cameron announced, responding to a growing public clamor for his government to do more to help.

Dramatic images from last week, especially a photograph of a Syrian toddler drowned on a Turkish beach, have created new political pressure to open doors, even in countries that argued previously that taking in too many migrants could make the problem worse by encouraging others to make dangerous voyages.

CNN hand-wringing whore Arwa "The Biter" Damon once more provides on the spot propaganda supporting and shilling for the invasion of economic "refugees" from Africa and the Middle East to replace workers in the EU

Pope Francis called over the weekend for Christian communities across the continent to offer sanctuary.

Hungary's prime minister Viktor Orban, a right-wing populist whose hard line during the crisis has drawn both praise and criticism, reiterated his opposition to quotas on Monday, calling this debate premature. Juncker's proposal would exempt the main entry countries Hungary, Greece and Italy from taking relocated refugees.

"As long as Europe cannot protect its external borders it makes no sense to discuss the fate of those flowing in," Orban said, defending a planned package of laws that would allow the army to be deployed to defend Hungary's southern border.

Hungary's defense minister, Hende Csaba, resigned because the armed forces were being too slow in building a border fence to keep out refugees and migrants.

Rich and welcoming Germany has become the preferred destination for most migrants.

CNN's token tag team frauds Zane Asher and Errol Barnett whine and sob on air for EU invaders claiming they are "refugees" when in fact almost all are well-fed, well dressed military age males looking for a free ride on the backs of legal EU citizens and will wind up as slave laborers for the corporate giants - Asher and Barnett can take a boatload into their own homes in their rich, secure, gated communities and see just how well that goes over with the neighbors

Other countries have resisted taking in refugees, with Poland arguing that it is already burdened by an influx of people from Ukraine, and Slovakia saying it preferred to accept Christians.

Officials in Bavaria, the southern German state that has become the entry point for migrants arriving from Hungary via Austria, said 4,000 were expected to have arrived in Munich by late on Monday evening. Another 1,500 were on trains heading on to cities elsewhere in Germany.

CNN junkie Natalie Allen plays the "migrant" soap opera with her pimp sidekick George Howell: both should be sued into oblivion for their pro-slavery corporate propaganda along with their CNN masters

German and Austrian officials appear to have been caught off guard by the numbers.

"It has now reached a volume that is already considerable," Christoph Hillenbrand, president of the government of Upper Bavaria, told reporters at Munich train station.

The psycho Merkel has finally overstepped herself
He said buses that could take 1,000 people north to cities like Dortmund, Hamburg, Braunschweig and Kiel had been made available, but that migrants had also been streaming out of temporary accommodation facilities on foot.

At Munich's international trade fair grounds, three halls have been given over to the effort, with more than 2,000 camp beds and a dining hall with hot food. The few rucksacks and plastic bags the travelers had arrived with were scattered between the beds. Some children kicked a soccer ball around outside.

"For the families it's too hard. For the single guys I think it's good to come. If somebody has some money or a passport for a visa, it's better," said Hassan Halabi from Aleppo in Syria, who hopes to go to Konstanz on the Swiss border.

Merkel's welcome to migrants has been praised by human rights groups. But there were signs of dissent within her conservative camp, with officials from the Bavarian Christian Social Union (CSU), sister party of her Christian Democrats, criticizing her handling of the crisis.

"There is no society that could cope with something like this," CSU leader and Bavarian premier Horst Seehofer said. "The federal government needs a plan here."

Many of the military age males washing up on EU beaches ran like cowards from their homes in Syria and Iraq

While many Germans have welcomed the refugees, there have also been attacks on shelters, including two early on Monday.

Leading members of Merkel's governing coalition have agreed to find six billion euros to pay for the influx.

They also agreed to speed up asylum decisions, reduce cash benefits for first arrivals, and to widen the list of countries deemed "safe" -- meaning their citizens generally have no claim to asylum -- to include all Balkan states.

"We should not pretend that this is a small task," Gabriel said. "We need to be realistic. We can take on 800,000 asylum seekers this year, find homes for them and help them integrate."

"But it should also be clear to everyone that this can't continue every year. We need a new European asylum policy."

We have already discussed in the first part of this analysis how the American geography dooms whoever controls the territory to being a global power, but there are a number of other outcomes that shape what that power will be like. The first and most critical is the impact of that geography on the American mindset.
