Revolt - European Parliament Members Support Athens

Parliament members already jumping EU sinking ship

The knives are out for Greece and its Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, as Greece desperately tries to cut a deal with the Eurozone, to keep its economy afloat. However, as deadline day looms, Athens has a growing number of supporters in Europe.

The country’s banks are closed and the population is still limited to withdrawing just 60 euros a day. Tispras has been pleading with the European Parliament for a fairer deal to try and keep the country in the Eurozone and understands the needs to implement reforms. "We are determined not to have a clash with Europe but to tackle head on the establishment in our own country and to change the mindset which will take us and the euro zone down," he said on Wednesday, Reuters reported.

However, the Greek Prime Minister’s words of conciliation do not seem to have struck a chord with some other European politicians.

German MEP, Manfred Weber was scathing in his criticism towards Tsipras, accusing the Greek Prime Minister of “destroying confidence in Europe” and that the “he should apologize for those utterly unacceptable statements that unfortunately he has passed over them in silence.” Weber made it quite clear, that in his opinion, Tsipras and the Greek government were responsible for the current crisis.

Tsipras tells MP's no more "austerity" for Greek citizens

His viewpoint was shared by Guy Verhofstadt of Belgium, who launched a no-holds barred condemnation towards the Greek government.

“You are talking about reforms, but we are never seeing concrete proposals and I am angry because we are practically walking towards a Grexit. We are not sleepwalking, we are running towards a Greek exit,”Verhofstadt, who is the leader of the liberal group in the European Parliament, said.

Tusk appears to be one of a very few that realise
ramifications of Greek exit from EU
Harsh words, and certainly strong words, but Tsipras was hardly without support from varying political spectrums within the European Union against the perceived “Brussels bullies” as Nigel Farage mentioned.

The British anti-EU politician chastised the German politician Weber for his attack on Tsipras, calling it “disgusting” while he also praised the Greek people for having the courage to vote ‘No’ in a recent referendum on whether to accept the terms proposed by the Eurozone creditors. “If you have got the courage you should lead the Greek people out of the Eurozone with your head held high,” Farage said.

“Yes it will be tough for the first few months, but with a devalued currency and friends all over the world you will recover.”

A number of Greece’s supporters within the Eurozone were thankful for the Athens and Tsipras speaking out against Europe.

“I am frightened by this Europe, which continues sanctions against Russia and with all these armed forces around as well. There are people in here who are saying it is not Islamic terrorism that is the problem, but the right, the populists – like Orban, Le Pen, Cameron,” said the Matteo Salvini, the leader of the Italian party, Lega Nord.

Euro collapsing on world markets

Meanwhile, Marine Le Pen, never one to miss an opportunity to have a dig at the EU or the Eurozone, laid the blame solely on the banks for causing this crisis.

“I think this is the first time in history that a central bank has completely off its own back launched a completely artificial crisis,” she said, adding that the Greek people should be commended for the hardships they have had to put up with over the last five years.

“All other people in Europe should be looking at what is happening with Greece and maybe an exit from the euro would allow for durable growth.

Others are afraid that Greece will show by leaving the euro, one can survive better out of it than actually being part of it,” she concluded.

Nazi empire that Lagarde, Merkel, EU bank
criminals built is now crumbling to dust
Spanish socialist Pablo Iglesias said that the EU was not being destroyed because of the fact that people do not agree with adjustment procedures being put forward by the IMF and ECB, in regards to the Greek ‘No’ vote in Sunday’s referendum.

Rather, he accused Berlin of “financial terrorism.”

“What is damaging Europe is financial totalitarianism, like the arrogance of the German government and the incapacity of certain people in government to defend their people,” Iglesias mentioned.

Perhaps the voice of reason as the debate drew to a close, was left to the president of the European Council, Donald Tusk, who said, “this is really and truly the final wake-up call,” and that “we could “be waking up in a very different Europe in four days’ time.”

In a poignant message to Greek’s creditors, Tusk said, “if you want to help your friend in need, don’t humiliate him.”

U.S. Spy Agency Tapped German Chancellery For Decades : WikiLeaks

Obama's NSA completely out of control, run by Nazis bent on tapping entire world on a permanent basis

BERLIN -

The U.S. National Security Agency tapped phone calls involving German Chancellor Angela Merkel and her closest advisers for years and spied on the staff of her predecessors, WikiLeaks said on Wednesday.

Will Nazi kissy-face continue after this revelation?
A report released by the group suggested NSA spying on Merkel and her staff had gone on far longer and more widely than previously realized. WikiLeaks said the NSA targeted for long-term surveillance 125 phone numbers of top German officials.

The release risks renewing tensions between Germany and the United States a month after they sought to put a row over spying behind them, with U.S. President Barack Obama declaring in Bavaria that the two nations were "inseparable allies."

WikiLeaks published what it said were three NSA intercepts of Merkel's conversations, and data it said listed telephone numbers for the chancellor, her aides, her office and even her fax machine.

"The names associated with some of the targets indicate that spying on the Chancellery predates Angela Merkel as it includes staff of former Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder (in office 1998-2002), and his predecessor Helmut Kohl," WikiLeaks added in a statement.

No comment was immediately available from the German government.

The intercepts released on Wednesday detailed communications from Merkel in 2009 on the international financial crisis, with the crown prince of the United Arab Emirates in 2009 on Iran, and with advisers in 2011 on the euro zone crisis.

Obama going for broke, doubling down on spying
The targeted phone numbers included those for the cellphones of senior officials at the chancellery and included that of Ronald Pofalla, Merkel's former chief of staff, WikiLeaks said. Spying is a sensitive issue in Germany because of the abuses of the Nazi and Communist eras. Revelations by former NSA contractor Edward Snowden about wide-ranging U.S. espionage in Germany caused outrage when they surfaced.

The spying row has also been stirred by allegations that Merkel's staff gave the German BND foreign intelligence agency a green light to help the NSA spy on European firms and officials.

The latest WikiLeaks release comes just over a week after it published a report showing the NSA wiretapped the communications of two successive French finance ministers and collected information on French export contracts, trade and budget talks.

Gun Used In San Francisco Pier Killing Belonged To Federal Agent

Another twist in this seemingly random, senseless murder; "source" smells of SFSD, SFPD attempt to divert blame to feds who now have a lot to answer for

HUFFINGTON POST

A man who had been deported from the U.S. five times used a handgun that belonged to a federal agent in last week's killing of a 32-year-old woman in San Francisco, a law enforcement source said Tuesday.

Kathryn Steinle killed by a gun belonging to a
federal agent
Juan Francisco Lopez Sanchez, charged in the July 1 fatal shooting of Kathryn Steinle on Pier 14, used a pistol that was the property of a federal agent, KGO-TV first reported. A source confirmed KGO's report to HuffPost.

Lopez-Sanchez appeared in court Tuesday to be formally charged with murder and pleaded not guilty.

In an earlier TV interview, he said he had found the gun wrapped up beneath a bench and it went off when he picked it up.

The San Francisco Chronicle said the gun had been reported stolen from a federal agent in a June auto break-in and was not the agent's official service weapon.

The San Francisco Police Department declined to verify information about the weapon.

"This information was not released by the San Francisco Police Department and we cannot confirm it," Officer Grace Gatpandan said in an emailed statement.

Interference: White House blames Republicans
for San Francisco illegal alien killer
The shooting and arrest have sparked heated debate over immigration policy as Lopez-Sanchez, a citizen of Mexico with a lengthy criminal record in the U.S., had been in custody as recently as April. He was freed because San Francisco is one of many so-called sanctuary cities that don't comply with all federal requests to detain immigrants. Lopez-Sanchez has seven felony convictions for drug and immigration charges and was on probation in Texas, leading some critics to say he shouldn't have been free before last week's killing.

The criminal complaint, filed in San Francisco Superior Court Tuesday, says Lopez-Sanchez illegally re-entered the U.S. five times in Texas from 1998 to 2011. According to San Francisco police, he's 45 years old, but jail records list him as 52.

Lopez-Sanchez appears at court hearing - can't
get his story straight and feigns confusion
The complaint sheds little light on the shooting of Steinle, who was hit while walking with her father and a family friend on Pier 14, a popular pedestrian area near the Bay Bridge. Lopez-Sanchez had been in police custody in April, when federal prison officials transferred him to San Francisco county jail to face a 20-year-old local charge involving a $20 marijuana deal. The San Francisco district attorney declined to prosecute that case, and the San Francisco sheriff released him, even though federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials had asked the sheriff's office to keep him in custody.

Sheriff Ross Mirkarimi said in a statement that he had to let Lopez-Sanchez go because of a 2013 city law that said the city would not comply with federal requests to detain immigrants solely on the basis of whether they entered the U.S. with proper documentation.

PM Alexis Tsipras Condemns Austerity In Speech To European Parlaiment

Sweating EU terrorist Juncker looks like deer in the headlights as he presides over his crumbling criminal empire; CNN prancing propaganda pony Isa Soarez shakes mane in anger as she is shunned in Athens following deviant junkie Richard Quest's malicious lies, slanders, threats and insults against Greek leaders, people

Greece made a request for aid from Europe's bailout fund Wednesday as it rushed to deliver details of its proposed economic reforms in time to secure the country's future in the euro and avoid a descent into financial chaos.

Take A Hike: Tsipras tells EU rapists Greece was
turned into "austerity lab" and will take their shit
no more
The government has asked for a three-year loan program and insisted the rescue will be accompanied by major economic reforms. No amount was mentioned.

According to the letter sent to the European Stability Mechanism, Athens said it would "immediately implement a set of measures as early as the beginning of next week."

Those include tax and pension reforms, details of which will be presented Thursday at the latest. Those are two of the issues that divided the Greek government and creditors over the past few months of protracted discussions.

In the letter, the Greek government said it was asking for the loans "given the risk to the financial stability of Greece as a member state and of the euro area as a whole." Its aim, it went on, was to regain "full and affordable market financing to meet its future funding requirements as well as sustainable economic and financial situation" by the time the loan ends at the latest.

Greece has been told it has to deliver details of the reforms by Thursday night so a deal can be agreed at a summit of the European Union's 28 leaders Sunday.

Message could not be clearer from Greek parliamentarians

Without a deal, the country faces an almost inevitable collapse of the banking system, and European leaders have warned Greece this is its last chance to remain in the euro.

Markets are holding up despite the apparent ultimatum, with many investors predicting a last-minute deal. The Stoxx 50 index was up 0.3 per cent.

Delusional EU parliament representatives insanely threaten Greece in the face of total destruction of  their criminal bankster empire

"Guarded optimism is the theme today, as the eurozone gives Greece one final deadline," said Chris Beauchamp, senior market analyst at IG in London.

Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, addressing lawmakers at the European Parliament, said his country is seeking a deal that would bring a definitive end to his country's financial crisis. Greece has had two bailouts from its European partners and the International Monetary Fund since May, 2010, totalling 240 billion euros ($260 billion).

"We need to ensure the medium-term funding of our country with a development and growth program," Tsipras told lawmakers in Strasbourg, France.

The head of France's central bank said he feared the "collapse" of the Greek economy and "chaos" if Greece doesn't strike a deal by Sunday.

And in unusually strong language, Christian Noyer told Europe-1 radio he predicted "riots" in Greece if no deal is reached.

He also indicated the European Central Bank would effectively pull the plug on its emergency liquidity measures for Greek banks if no deal is struck.

EU bankster mouthpiece, deviant fraud junkie Richard
Quest's lies and threats against Greek people backfire,
completely exposing CNN as EU bankster shills

Tsipras insisted he has "no hidden agenda" to drive Greece out of the euro and that last Sunday's referendum result, in which voters soundly rejected a previous creditors' reform proposal, does not mean a break with Europe. Applause rose from left-wing quarters in the EU Parliament when Tsipras said aid to Greece only helped out banks, not ordinary Greeks.

The head of a conservative group in the Parliament, Belgium's Guy Verhofstadt, said he was "furious" at Tsipras' failure to spell out specifics of his reform plans.

In Greece, meanwhile, people were struggling with an eighth day of limits on money withdrawals and shuttered banks. They cannot take out more than 60 euros ($67) a day from ATMs, are unable to send money abroad, including to pay supplies or bills, without special permission.

Athens Condemns Austerity

Tsipras said Greece's troubles predated his arrival in office in January and condemned the "austerity experiment" his country has endured over the past five years that he blames for spiraling unemployment and poverty.

Greeks will take no more rape of their country by EU terrorists, bankster criminals, slanders, lies and threats from fraud CNN/MSM "journalists"

"We demand an agreement with our neighbours, but one that gives us a sign that we are on a long-lasting basis exiting from the crisis — which will demonstrate to us that there is light at the end of the tunnel. An agreement which will bring about the credible and necessary reforms," he said.

Tsipras vowed to continue reforms but warned about the austerity-weariness of the public.

"This has exhausted the patience and resilience of the Greek people," he said.

Failing at threats and terrorism, CNN frauds and EU bankster shills Rosemary Church along with doofus sidekick Max Foster then attempted to claim that the Greek people were "confused" about the referendum ballot, a ludicrous lie quickly picked up and parroted by Juncker in parliament yesterday; apparently a week is not enough for them to figure it out

The Greek crisis has frayed the nerves of other European leaders, who have accused the Greek government, elected in January on promises to repeal austerity, of foot-dragging and exacerbating the situation.

Highlighting the rising anger with Tsipras, European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker had a stark warning for Greece after Tuesday's eurozone summit.

"We have a Grexit scenario, prepared in detail," he said, apparently referring to the situation in which Greece would be forced out of the currency union.

CNN's EU bankster shills and hacks now being ignored by the Greeks, and should be ejected permanently from Greece for CNN slanders heaped upon the Greek people, their plight and their leaders

Greece's eurozone partners have said they want to help the country stay in the currency club while complaining about foot-dragging by the Greek government.

One big sticking point has been Greece's demand for some relief on its debt burden, which stands at around 320 billion euros ($350 billion), or around 180 per cent of the country's annual GDP.

Germany appears to be particularly reluctant to help Greece deal with its debts if reforms aren't forthcoming.

Germany's stance is at odds with the IMF — another major creditor. In a report last week, it said European states should accept longer repayment periods and lower interest rates on their loans to Greece.
