Hong Kong Protesters Clash With Police Near Heart Of Financial District; CNN Hacks Fan Flames Of More Rioting

Not satisfied with the looting, burning and mayhem they incited in Ferguson, CNN now returns to Hong Kong where their hopped-up, drunken CIA hack Ivan Watson exhorts protesters to take on the police - who unlike American cops will take no shit from idiots unaware they are doing the bidding of the CIA in it's doomed attempt to destabilise China

By Clare Baldwin and James Pomfret

Hong Kong police baton-charged and pepper-sprayed thousands of pro-democracy demonstrators in the early hours of Monday who were trying to encircle government headquarters, defying orders to retreat after more than two months of protests.

CNN now incites Hong Kong protesters for the CIA
The skirmishes were perhaps the most violent in recent weeks, with the protesters answering a call by two student groups leading the campaign to escalate their actions, after two months of stalemate in their push for full democracy.

The crowds, chanting "Surround government headquarters!" and "Open the road!", had blocked a major road running in front of the offices of Hong Kong's leader in the Admiralty district, next to Hong Kong's central business district, late on Friday.

Hundreds of riot police scattered the crowds in chaotic scenes, forcing protesters back with pepper spray and batons, aimed at the backs and heads of those trying to scramble over walls to safety in a crush of bodies. A cloud of tear gas rose up in the middle of one particularly violent scuffle.

Scores of volunteer medics attended to the injured, many with open head wounds. Police said at least 18 arrests were made.

Despite the relatively swift clearance of Lung Wo road outside government headquarters in the early hours of Monday, large crowds, many in protective goggles and makeshift body armor, refused to leave the area and continued to press against police lines, chanting "We want universal suffrage!"

CNN drunken doper Ivan Watson incites Turkish protesters to riot; Watson should be thrown in the Hong Kong can as was his CIA Al Jazeera co-fraud Peter Greste in Egypt, where Greste rightfully remains rotting in a cell for inciting riots in Cairo; Al Jazerra co-conspirator Sue Turton was convicted by the same court for spying, inciting riots in absentia

Others held up yellow umbrellas, a flimsy defense against police batons and pepper spray that have become a symbol of the pro-democracy movement in Hong Kong, which reverted from British to Chinese rule in 1997.

The protesters are demanding free elections for Hong Kong's next leader in 2017, not the vote between pre-screened candidates that China's Communist Party has said it will allow.

The movement has threatened to become the biggest challenge to the party since its bloody 1989 crackdown on pro-democracy student protests in and around Tiananmen Square in Beijing, as a new generation demands greater political freedom.

Clueless Hong Kong protesters have no idea they are doing the bidding of Obama's murdering CIA in an attempt to destabilise China

The Hong Kong rallies drew more than 100,000 on to the streets at their peak, but numbers have since dwindled to a few hundred and public support has waned.

The Admiralty flare-up came after four nights of clashes in the working-class district of Mong Kok, one of the city's largest and most volatile protest zones, which police had cleared of protesters on Wednesday.

Ferguson Protesters Lead TIME’s Person Of The Year Poll

TIME comes out of the closet to endorse criminal rioting and looting in U.S. cities; "Person Of The Year" has long been discredited as a cheap, PC driven award for losers, crooks, non-achievers and mass-murderers

With just over a week before TIME names its person of the year, the Ferguson protesters have surged ahead to first place in the magazine’s symbolic annual reader’s poll.

TIME proposed "Person Of The Year:" Louis Head
Following a grand jury’s decision not to indict Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson over the fatal shooting of an unarmed African American teenager Michael Brown, the protest movement has brought race and police brutality to the forefront of US society.

For those seeking to enjoy what is arguably America’s most family-centric holiday, protesters interrupting the annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade kept events in that low-income Saint Louis suburb on everyone’s mind.

You might be hard pressed to find a table where the word ‘Ferguson’ wasn’t uttered at least once over carved turkey, and pumpkin pie.

Black Friday, the biggest shopping day of the year, was similarly appropriated under the banner ‘Black Lives Matter Friday.’ Malls were shut down. The arrests continue to pile up. For now, the burgeoning social justice movement appears to be gathering steam.

It should come as no surprise then, that the protesters of Ferguson are collectively leading TIME magazine’s annual ‘Person of the Year’ poll with 10.8 percent of the vote as of Sunday.

Slipping to second place is India’s newly elected Prime Minister Narendra Modi. With 9.9 percent of the vote, Modi has inspired the world’s second most populace state with a vision of stronger economic growth and less bureaucratic hurdles.

Brown's step-father Louis Head called for burning in Ferguson, and loot and burn they did - heavy on the looting:  These are the criminal animals TIME proposes for their bogus "Person Of The Year" award, Head will hopefully receive his copy behind bars after he is prosecuted for inciting rioters

Rounding out the current top five are: Joshua Wong, a student activist in Hong Kong with 7.4 percent; Malala Yousafzai, a Nobel Prize winner from Pakistan on 5.3 percent; and Russian President Vladimir Putin at 4.6 percent.

The doctors and nurses battling against the deadly Ebola epidemic are in sixth place with 4.4 percent of the vote.

Racist Al Sharpton incites rioters; runner-up for TIME award
The tallies were aggregated from votes on Twitter, Facebook and’s voting hub. For those looking to vote on social media, keep an eye out for the #TIMEPOY.

While readers might enjoy throwing in their two cents, it will be TIME’s editors, and not the readers, who ultimately pick the Person of the Year.

Last year, Pope Francis was named the 2013 Person of the Year, though Egyptian army chief Abdel Fattah el-Sisi topped the reader’s ballot amid accusations of hacking. The previous year, readers decided Kim Jong-un (with a little help from the English language image website 4Chan) was the man of 2012. The editors, by contrast, decided it was US President Barack Obama.

Of course, it is not only readers who pick controversial people for the accolade.

For example, Ayatollah Khomeini was given the nod in 1979 following the Islamic Revolution. Joseph Stalin was picked twice (1939 and 1942), and Adolf Hitler hijacked the cover in 1938.

Party time:  Rioters take a much needed break to loot a liquor store - all that burning and property destruction is thirsty work; THESE are the criminal scum that TIME believes are worthy of their "award"

The magazine has always stressed that it’s not an endorsement, but rather an acknowledgement of the world as it is.

“Since 1927, TIME has named a person who for better or worse has most influenced the news and our lives in the past year,” the magazine says.

For the reader poll, voting closes at 11:59pm on December 6, and the winner will be announced on December 8. TIME’s Person of the Year will be announced two days later, on December 10.

Lebanon Travel Warning : U.S. State Department

The 5th Estate extends this travel warning to include all overseas destinations for Americans and especially for the Middle East and Africa

The Department of State urges U.S. citizens to avoid all travel to Lebanon because of ongoing safety and security concerns. U.S. citizens living and working in Lebanon should understand that they accept risks in remaining and should carefully consider those risks. This supersedes the Travel Warning issued on August 15, 2014.

The potential for death or injury in Lebanon exists in particular because of the frequency of terrorist bombing attacks throughout the country. Many of the attacks have targeted specific individuals or venues, but nearly all cases have resulted in death and injuries to innocent bystanders. Although there is no evidence these attacks were directed specifically at U.S. citizens at this time, there is a real possibility of “wrong place, wrong time” harm to U.S. citizens.

The most recent wave of bombings began in June 2013, with four bombings in Beirut and Tripoli that collectively left hundreds dead and wounded.

The attacks have continued in 2014. On February 19, in an attack against the Iranian Cultural Center, two suicide bombers killed at least five and wounded over 30 in southern Beirut. On February 22, a car bomb was detonated at a check point in Hermel, killing one and wounding 14. On March 17, a car bomb exploded in the eastern Bekaa town of Nabi Othman, causing two deaths and more than 10 injuries. On June 20 a suicide bomber detonated himself at a checkpoint on the main Damascus-Beirut highway, resulting in one killed, and over 30 injured. On June 24 a suicide car bomb was detonated in southern Beirut after Lebanese authorities stopped the driver, killing two and wounding a dozen people at a nearby cafe. On June 26, a suicide bomber detonated his vest as security forces were closing in on him at a local tourist hotel in downtown Beirut, wounding three of the security forces.

Attacks now regularly involve suicide bombers. Similar incidents can occur without warning.

There have been numerous reports in the media of Lebanese security forces disrupting other planned bombings.

To date, Lebanese security forces have been successful against potential suicide bombers, who have often been forced to detonate their vests or vehicles short of their targets.

This practice of suicide bombers adds an additional element of unpredictability, since just avoiding potential target areas does not provide any protection from being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Sudden outbreaks of violence can occur at any time in the country, and major cities in Lebanon have seen armed clashes. There are frequent armed clashes in the city of Tripoli, particularly between the neighborhoods of Bab al-Tabbaneh and Jabal Mohsen, which have resulted in deaths and injuries. The Lebanese Armed Forces are routinely brought in to quell the violence in these situations. The Lebanese government cannot guarantee protection for citizens or visitors to the country in the event violence should occur suddenly. Access to borders, airports, roads, and seaports can be interrupted with little or no warning. Public demonstrations occur frequently with little warning and have become violent in some instances. Family, neighborhood, or sectarian disputes can escalate quickly and can lead to gunfire or other violence with no warning. The ability of U.S. government personnel to reach travelers or provide emergency services is severely limited. Demonstrators sometimes block the primary road between downtown Beirut and Rafiq Hariri International Airport without warning. Access to the airport also may be cut off, sometimes for extended periods, if the security situation deteriorates.

Extremist groups operate in Lebanon, including some such as Hizballah, the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), the Abdullah Azzam Brigades (AAB), and al-Nusrah Front (ANF), that the U.S. Government has designated as terrorist organizations. ISIL and ANF have claimed responsibility for suicide bombings in Lebanon, and these groups are active in north Lebanon, the Bekaa Valley, and in border areas with Syria. U.S. citizens have been the target of terrorist attacks in Lebanon in the past, and the threat of anti-Western terrorist activity remains in Lebanon. U.S. citizens traveling or residing in Lebanon despite this Travel Warning should keep a low profile, assess their personal security, and vary times and routes for all required travel. U.S. citizens also should pay close attention to their personal security at locations where Westerners generally are known to congregate, and should avoid demonstrations and large gatherings. They should consider avoiding areas where bombings have taken place recently. The most recent Security Messages are posted on the U.S. Embassy Beirut website.

Hizballah maintains a strong presence in parts of south Beirut, the Bekaa Valley, and areas in southern Lebanon. Hizballah has been the target of attacks by other extremist groups for their support of the Asad regime in Syria. The potential for violence between Hizballah and other extremist groups throughout the country remains a strong possibility. Hizballah and other groups have at times detained and extensively interrogated U.S. citizens or other foreigners for political motivations.

U.S. citizens in Lebanon should monitor ongoing political and security developments in Syria, as these often impact stability in Lebanon. The conflict in Syria has resulted in numerous security incidents in the border regions with Lebanon, as well as in other parts of the country. Over the past year, there were numerous incidents of cross-border shelling and air strikes of Lebanese villages from Syria, which resulted in deaths and injuries, as well as reports of armed groups from Syria who kidnapped or attacked Lebanese citizens living in the border area. Clashes between Lebanese authorities and criminal elements occurred in areas of the Bekaa Valley and border regions. Similar incidents could occur again without warning. With the potential for violence and abductions, the U.S. Embassy urges U.S. citizens to avoid the Lebanese-Syrian border region altogether.

Kidnapping, whether for ransom or political motives, remains a problem in Lebanon. Kidnappers have abducted business people under the guise of coming to Lebanon for meetings. Suspects in kidnappings sometimes have ties to terrorist or criminal organizations. Although the U.S. government places the highest priority on the safe recovery of kidnapped U.S. citizens, it is U.S. policy not to make concessions to hostage takers. U.S. law also makes it illegal to provide material support to terrorist organizations.

The U.S. Department of State wishes to warn U.S. citizens of the risk of traveling on airlines that fly over Syria. As we have seen in the recent past, commercial aircraft are at risk when flying over regions in conflict. We strongly recommend that U.S. citizens considering air travel overseas evaluate the route that their proposed commercial flight may take and avoid any that pass through Syrian airspace. U.S. government personnel in Lebanon have been prohibited from taking flights that pass through Syrian airspace. Flight paths are subject to change, so you should check with your airline to try to verify your flight’s route before traveling.

Rocket attacks from southern Lebanon into Israel have occurred at an increased rate, in connection with the violence between Israel and Hamas in Gaza. These attacks, normally consisting of a few unsophisticated rockets fired at northern Israel, often provoke a prompt military response from Israel in the form of artillery fire. The rocket attacks and responses can occur with no warning. Skirmishes and tense exchanges between the LAF and the Israel Defense Forces along Lebanon's southern border also may occur with no warning. Landmines and unexploded ordnance pose significant dangers throughout southern Lebanon, particularly south of the Litani River, as well as in areas of the country where fighting was intense during the civil war. More than 40 civilians have been killed and more than 300 injured by unexploded ordnance remaining from the 2006 Israel-Hizballah war. Travelers should watch for posted landmine warnings and strictly avoid all areas where landmines and unexploded ordnance may be present.

Palestinian groups hostile to both the Lebanese government and the United States operate largely autonomously in different areas of the country inside refugee camps. Intra-communal violence within the camps has resulted in shootings and explosions. U.S. citizens should avoid travel to Palestinian refugee camps.

The Department of State considers the threat to U.S. Government personnel in Beirut sufficiently serious to require them to live and work under strict security restrictions. The internal security policies of the U.S. Embassy may be adjusted at any time and without advance notice. These practices limit, and may prevent, access by U.S. Embassy officials to certain areas of the country, especially to parts of metropolitan Beirut, the city of Tripoli, northern Lebanon, the Bekaa Valley, and southern Lebanon. Because of security concerns, unofficial travel to Lebanon by U.S. Government employees and their family members is strictly limited, and requires the Department of State’s prior approval.

In the event that the security climate in Lebanon and the region worsens, U.S. citizens will be responsible for arranging their own travel out of Lebanon. U.S. citizens should be aware that the Embassy does not offer “protection” services to individuals who feel unsafe. U.S. citizens with special medical or other needs should be aware of the risks of remaining given their condition, and should be prepared to seek treatment in Lebanon if they cannot arrange for travel out of the country.

U.S. government-facilitated evacuations, such as the evacuation that took place from Lebanon in 2006, occur only when no safe commercial alternatives exist. Evacuation assistance is provided on a cost-recovery basis, which means the traveler must reimburse the U.S. Government for travel costs. The lack of a valid U.S. passport may hinder U.S. citizens' ability to depart the country and may slow the U.S. Embassy's ability to provide assistance. U.S. citizens in Lebanon should therefore ensure that they have proper and current documentation at all times. U.S. Legal Permanent Residents should consult with the Department of Homeland Security before they depart the United States to ensure they have proper documentation to re-enter. Further information on the Department’s role during emergencies is provided on the Bureau of Consular Affairs’ website

U.S. citizens living or traveling in Lebanon should enroll in the Department ofSmart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP), at the Bureau of Consular Affairs’ website, Travel.State.Gov, to receive the latest travel updates and information and to obtain updated information on travel and security within Lebanon. U.S. citizens without Internet access may enroll directly with the U.S. Embassy in Beirut. By enrolling, U.S. citizens make it easier for the Embassy to contact them in case of emergency. The U.S. Embassy is located in Awkar, near Antelias, Beirut, Lebanon. Public access hours for U.S. citizens are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. U.S. citizens must make appointments in advance. U.S. citizens who require emergency services outside these hours may contact the Embassy by telephone at any time. The Embassy’s telephone numbers are (961-4) 542-600, (961-4) 543-600, and fax (961-4) 544-209 (Note: the (961) is only necessary when dialing from outside the country. Hagel's No - Win Situation : Rumsfeld & Company

The ONLY question here is WHY is this WAR CRIMINAL still walking around free: Hagel, murderer of thousands of U.S. military personnel in the illegal Afghan/Iraq wars will stand trial with his master Obama

By Dallas Darling

Those claiming the resignation of Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel is a clear indication of the collapse of President Barack Obama's national security team are suffering from memory lapse.

"And we got away with it!"
Remember Donald Rumsfeld, Hagel's predecessor? He was the one who said, "You go to war with the army you have--not the army you might want or wish to have at a later time."

If this is true, then, you also go to war with the Secretary of Defense which first engineered and initiated that war.

And when that same war turns into a series of major catastrophes, lasting many years and spilling over into adjacent nations, successive Defense Secretaries will find themselves in no-win situations.

Rumsfeld came on the scene in 1975 when he supervised a takeover within the Ford Administration. Known as the Halloween Day Massacre, he, Dick Cheney, and George H.W.Bush seized several key White House cabinet positions.Along with alienating a moderate presidency, Rumsfeld ended detente with the Soviet Union

WAR CRIMINALS: Rumsfeld, Bush and Cheney

Rumsfeld's coup shifted American policy to the extreme right. It also soured U.S.-Soviet relations, bringing an end to arms reduction treaties. According to Henry Kissinger, Rumsfeld was the most ruthless man he had ever met.

Former President Richard Nixon described him as a "ruthless little bastard."(1) Rumsfeld was about to prove both of them correct.

Rumsfeld licking the arse of Saddam Hussein
In the 1980's, Rumsfeld paid Saddam Hussein of Iraq two visits. His three-fold purpose was to ensure access to Persian Gulf oil and prevent the Soviets from acquiring any kind of political-military influence in the region. He also assured Hussein that the U.S. would do "whatever was necessary..." to prevent an Iranian victory.

During a second visit, he overlooked Hussein's use of chemical weaponry against Iranians while promising billions of dollars in military aid, training, and intelligence.(2)

Because of his visit, Hussein would later feel emboldened to invade his neighbor, Kuwait. He would also continue to pursue the production and use of weapons of mass production.

Rumsfeld telling the American public that 2.3 BILLION is missing from the Pentagon - the day before 911

After the Cold War and during the Clinton Administration, Rumsfeld, with other neoconservatives, spearheaded the Project for the New American Century. They called for a return to Reaganite military policies, including the domination of outer space with a succession of new missile systems. On the ground, Rumsfeld envisioned an Americathat would fight and decisively win multiple, simultaneous wars in many different regions of the world. He also pressured the Clinton Administration to take unilateral military action against Hussein.(3) His projected policies made it more difficult for the White House to negotiate with other nations and led to a new military and arms race.

Rumsfeld roundly hated by the U.S. military
Once Rumsfeld was Secretary of Defense, thanks to a spurious election, he applauded the rejection of theInternational Criminal Court and Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaties. While encouraging the suspension of talks with North Korea over its long-range missile program, he quietly expanded the role and influence of the Pentagon

To the dismay of counter-terrorist expert Richard Clarke, he also transferred $600 million from counterterrorism programs to the missile defense budget.(4) All of this resulted in a discredited White House that tortured, the restarting of North Korea's nuclear program, the militarization of society, and a lax policy towards pre-9-11 terrorists.

Rumsfeld is responsible for the torture and rape of Iraqi prisoners - many of them innocent - at the notorious Abu Ghraib prison: This prisoner is seen here smeared with his own feces

After the attacks on 9-11, Rumsfeld pushed for a series of criminal wars against Islamic nations, especially Iraq and Iran. According to Clarke, and despite being attacked by Osama bin Laden in Afghanistan, "Rumsfeld took advantage of a national tragedy to promote his agenda in Iraq."(5) He also envisioned an Iraq without Hussein, imagining a new regime aligned with U.S. interests. "It would change everything in the region and beyond it," said Rumsfeld, and "it would demonstrate what U.S. policy is all about."(6) Kissinger's and Nixon's warnings came true. Rumsfeld ruthlessly manipulated 9-11 for his own political agenda. He bastardized 9-11 by launching the invasion of Iraq.

Hagel, seen here with fellow mass-murderer and traitor Martin Dempsey follows in Rumsfeld's footsteps on the way to prison for war crimes, murder and abandonment of U.S. military personnel

After the invasion of Iraq in 2003, Rumsfeld visited the nation and jubilantly proclaimed (prematurely) "unlike many armies in the world, you came not to conquer, not to occupy, but to liberate and the Iraqi people know this..."(7) But many Iraqis would never know Rumsfeld's so-called promises of liberation. Millions would instead be killed, along with millions more having to endure as refugees.

Rumsfeld's narrow vision, his failure of imagination, had also planned regime changes in Iran, Syria, Yemen, Sudan, Lebanon, the PLO, and Libya

War criminals Rice, Bush, Rumsfeld by far worse than Saddam
In other words, the military debacles now occurring in these countries had already been planned. The die had been cast. Hagel was in a no-win situation. Secretary of Defense, Rumsfeld caused more damage than Osama bin Laden and al-Qaeda.

He as well proved to be more dangerous than Russia, Iran, or North Korea. (U.S.-Russian relations deteriorated over Rumsfeld's "Rods from God," a desire to deploy weapons in space.) By doubling military spending during the Bush years, by ensuring that the Pentagon usurped the role of the State Department in foreign policy, and by trying to dominate the world through organized violence instead of the free exchange of ideas and democratic values, he has greatly damaged the U.S. He has also caused other nations to distrust America, to view it as an illegitimate superpower and leader of the "free world."

Even more so, the wars and policies Rumsfeld envisioned and initiated have led to grave and unintended consequences. While serving as a magnet for Islamic fighters and defenders, they have threatened the stability of entire regions, even humanity. They have led to larger insurgencies and retaliatory terrorist attacks against American hubris. This is the real transition that has occurred, and will occur, one that the U.S. will never recover from. American hegemony will continue to retreat and decline. Hagel, as Secretary of Defense, merely found himself in a no-win situation. His removal will be replayed again and again as future Secretaries of Defense also face no-win situations.

As Secretary of Defense, Rumsfeld neglected several principles of war.

First, a nation should only resort to war if it is reasonable and defensive, and if it has a realistic prospect of success.

Second, there is no point in sacrificing lives and resources in vain. This leads to moral and political bankruptcy and economic hardships.

Third, a balance should also exist between the desired end and the likely consequences.

Fourth, a Defense Secretary should emphasize negotiations and compromise versus preemptive engagements which will result in too few available troops and a overstretched military. Because of Rumsfeld events have spiraled out of control. America now faces stalemates on many fronts.

From Iraq to Iran, Russia, North Korea and the Islamic State, Rumsfeld left behind too many military debacles and quagmires. Democracy-something he never quite understood nor cared about-wasn't messy. But his militant policies and narrow political views were. Consequently, Rumsfeld was in good company with millions of other true believers, all sharing the same ideology. Many are still in the highest echelons of government. Because of Rumsfeld & Company, the national security collapse occurred years before Hagel. It will be many years before a Secretary of Defense, even a president, faces a win-win situation. Rumsfeld & Company hastened America's collapse and retreat from the world.

We have already discussed in the first part of this analysis how the American geography dooms whoever controls the territory to being a global power, but there are a number of other outcomes that shape what that power will be like. The first and most critical is the impact of that geography on the American mindset.

On October 12, 2002 the Indonesian island of Bali experienced a terrorist attack that rocked the world. It was unquestionably well-coordinated and executed, the largest in the country's history.
