"Slaughtered Like Sheep" : Eyewitnesses Recount Massacre In Adra, Syria - NATO, CIA Responsible

Obama's murdering CIA/FSA scum responsible for Syrian conflict and all resulting civilian deaths

RT
12/17/2013

New details of atrocities carried out by Islamist rebel fighters in the town of Adra, 20 kilometers north of Damascus, continue to pour in from survivors of the massacre there, in which reportedly at least 80 people lost their lives.

Obama, NATO responsible for Syrian war, FSA massacres
"The decapitators" is how the Adra residents, who managed to flee the violence there, now call the people who currently have the town under their control. Adra, a town with a population of 20,000, was captured by Islamist rebels from the Al-Nusra front and the Army of Islam last week, following fierce fighting with the government forces. The town’s seizure was accompanied by mass executions of civilians.

Following alarming reports of the massacre, RT contacted international rights groups including the Human Rights Watch (HRW), Amnesty International, as well as the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). However, none of them were able to provide any information.

Innocent civilians didn't have a chance against CIA/FSA killers
While the HRW told RT that it “cannot comment at this stage as our research is still ongoing and it has been very difficult to get accurate information about what is happening in Adra and who is responsible for the abuses,” the ICRC said they “don’t have access to this area and can neither confirm nor deny any information circulating.”

RT Arabic has managed to speak to some of the eyewitnesses of the atrocities. Most of them have fled the town, leaving their relatives and friends behind, so they asked not to be identified in the report for security reasons.

An Adra resident said he escaped from the town “under a storm of bullets.” He later contacted his colleagues, who described how the executions of civilians were carried out by the militants.

FSA scum armed, trained by CIA, Mossad, Saudi Arabia, Qatar
“They had lists of government employees on them,” the man told RT. “This means they had planned for it beforehand and knew who works in the governmental agencies. They went to the addresses they had on their list, forced the people out and subjected them to the so-called “Sharia trials.” I think that’s what they call it. They sentenced them to death by beheading.”

A woman, hiding her face from the camera, told RT of the beheadings she had seen.

“There was slaughter everywhere,” she said. “The eldest was only 20 years old; he was slaughtered. They were all children. I saw them with my own eyes. They killed fourteen people with a machete. I don’t know if these people were Alawites. I don’t know why they were slaughtered. They grabbed them by their heads and slaughtered them like sheep.”

Innocent civilians massacred at Adra by Obama's CIA/FSA
It’s been reported that 80 civilians were killed in the massacre. The death toll could still grow, as currently the information coming from Adra is scarce. The town has been surrounded and isolated by the Syrian army, who have been trying to force the extremists out.

“Civilians told us that the workers of an Adra bakery were all executed and burned during the first hours of the attack. Whole families were massacred. We do not have an exact estimation of the number because we are unable to get into the town, but the number is high,” Kinda Shimat, Syria’s Social Affairs Minister, told RT.

Obama/NATO  FSA murdering scum show true colors
Details of the executions are trickling out of the town as eyewitnesses tell their stories.

“They killed everyone at the Adra Ummalia police station,” another fugitive from the town told RT. “And they killed everyone at the Adra Ummalia hospital where my sister works. She stayed alive only because she didn’t show up for work that day. There are about 200 people at the police station. They are civilians. The militants are hiding among them, using them as a shield to prevent the Army from bombing the police.”

The events in Adra are a further example of the shift that has taken place within the Syrian rebel forces which has lately been dominated by Islamist extremists, according to Michel Chossudovsky, director of the Centre for Research on Globalization.

CIA/FSA assassins armed with U.S. gear, munitions, weapons
“The so-called moderate opposition forces are virtually non-existent from the military standpoint,” Chossudovsky told RT. “The only force which has funding and weapons are the Islamists, particularly Al-Nusra. And their rebel brigades are the ones committing atrocities. The divisions are occurring precisely because segments of the opposition realize that these terrorist brigades do not belong to the so-called opposition movement.”

CIA Al Jazeera whore Shiulie Douche shills, covers for FSA
Both the Adra massacre and the latest Aleppo bombing have signaled the escalation of violence in the war-torn country ahead of the UN-mediated continuously postponed peace talks on Syria, now set to take place in Geneva on January 22.

On Monday, UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon called for a ceasefire ahead of the talks.

"We must have a cessation of hostilities before we begin political dialogue on Syria in Geneva," he said.

More than 100,000 people have died during the three-year-old civilian war in Syria, according to UN estimates.

Syria Atrocities : The U.S. Directly Supports The Al Qaeda Terrorists

Obama's murdering CIA scum ARE "Al Qaeda"

GLOBAL RESEARCH
By Prof Michel Chossudovsky
12/17/2013

Who is behind these atrocities. What is the agenda.

From the very outset of this conflict, the Western military alliance has supported the “Al Qaeda affiliated rebels”.

“Affiliated” to Whom? That is the Fundamental Question.

Al Qaeda, lest we forget is a creation of the CIA.

Al Qaeda is an intelligence asset.

All the so-called Al Qaeda affiliated rebels in the Middle East, Africa, Central Asia and South East Asia are being used by their Western intelligence handlers to destroy and destabilize sovereign countries.

This process is part of an imperial agenda of post-colonial conquest.

This process is part of an imperial agenda of post-colonial conquest.

In Syria, the Al Qaeda fighters integrated by mercenaries, trained in Saudi Arabia and Qatar constitute the mainstay of so-called opposition forces, which have been involved in countless atrocities and terrorist acts directed against the civilian population from the outset in March 2011.

Barack Obama and John Kerry have blood on their hands.

The slaughter committed in Adra, which has received virtually no news coverage was implemented on behalf of Washington.

There can be no peace as long as the Western military alliance supports the terrorists.

Tech Firms Push Back Against White House Efforts To Divert NSA Meeting

White House criminals, corporate spy scum now devouring each other as the world revolts against them

THE GUARDIAN
in New York and in Washington
12/17/2013

The top leaders from the world’s biggest technology companies pressed their case for reform of the National Security Agency’s controversial surveillance operations at a meeting with President Obama on Tuesday, resisting attempts by the White House to portray the encounter as a wide-ranging discussion of broader priorities.

Senior executives from the companies whose bosses were present at the meeting said they were determined to keep the discussion focused on the NSA, despite the White House declaring in advance that it would focus on ways of improving the functionality of the troubled health insurance website, healthcare.gov, among other matters.

“That is not going to happen,” said an executive at one of the major tech companies represented at the meeting. “We are there to talk about the NSA,” said the executive, who was briefed on the company’s agenda before the event.

Obama, NSA scum fresh out of lies
An executive at another company present at the White House on Tuesday described any other issues as “peripheral”.

The executive, who also declined to be named in order to discuss his company’s strategy, said: “There’s only one subject that people really want to discuss right now.”

After meeting Obama and vice president Joe Biden for two-and-a-half hours, the companies issued a one-line statement.

"We appreciated the opportunity to share directly with the president our principles on government surveillance that we released last week and we urge him to move aggressively on reform," they said.

Many of the senior tech leaders had already made public their demand for sweeping surveillance reforms in an open letter that specifically called for a ban on the kind of bulk data collection that a federal judge ruled on Monday was probably unlawful

Google pederast Schmidt headed for destruction
Judge Richard Leon’s ruling, which will now be subject to an appeal, is the most significant legal setback for the NSA since the publication of the first surveillance disclosures by the whistleblower Edward Snowden, and it comes at a pivotal moment for the future of the agency.

The president and his advisers were already considering the recommendations of an NSA review panel set up in the wake of Snowden’s revelations. They are also considering the future leadership of the agency, whose director and deputy director are stepping down.

They must now grapple with the fallout from a damning court ruling that concluded the mass collection of phone records probably violates the fourth amendment – which prohibits unreasonable searches and seizures – and is “almost Orwellian” in its scope. Leon said James Madison, who played a key role in drafting the US constitution, would be “aghast” at the scope of the agency’s collection of Americans' communications data, were he alive today.

The decision by the tech giants to press their case in such a public and unified way poses another problem for the White House.

The industry is an increasingly influential voice in Washington, a vital part of the US economy and many of its most successful leaders are prominent Democratic political donors.

In recent months, the technology companies have become increasingly vocal in their demands for NSA reform, and more revelations have emerged from documents leaked by Snowden.

Among those meeting Obama at the White House were Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple, Marissa Mayer, the CEO of Yahoo, and Eric Schmidt, Google’s executive chairman. Senior representatives from Comcast, Facebook, Microsoft, Twitter, and Netflix were also there. So too was Randall Stephenson, the chairman and CEO of AT&T, one of the telecom providers routinely required to provide the NSA with metadata about its US customers.

NSA propagandist John R. Schindler
On 9 December, many of those in the meeting wrote to Obama calling for major reforms of the NSA. “This summer’s revelations highlighted the urgent need to reform government surveillance practices worldwide,” the companies wrote in their statement.

The revelations had “shaken the trust of our users”, Mayer said in the joint statement. “And it is time for the US government to act to restore the confidence of citizens around the world.”

Among their specific demands where:

• A limit to the government’s authority to collect users’ information.

• More independent and public oversight of the intelligence agencies.

• Transparency about government demands for information from tech firms – now subject to reporting restrictions.

With legislation to reform the NSA currently stalled on Capitol Hill, and unlikely to resurface until January, privacy advocates are focused on the White House, which could enact its own changes if the president is persuaded of the need.

An intense lobbying effort has gone on for months, with senior figures in the intelligence community warning that any significant dilution of its powers will risk another terrorist attack on the scale of 9/11.

Corporate lawsuit fun has just begun
The NSA review panel, which handed its findings to Obama on Friday, has reportedly proposed only limited reforms, saying the NSA’s surveillance tools should be amended in light of Snowden’s disclosures but essentially remain intact. One decisive factor in the president's considerations could be the White House’s recent appointment of John Podesta, Bill Clinton’s former chief of staff.

Podesta, whose role as √©minence grise to the president begins next month, has gone on the record saying Obama should establish a “national commission” to respond to the legitimate concerns raised by Snowden’s disclosures. Podesta added in an interview with Der Spiegel in July: “Surely we can meet our national security needs without sacrificing the respect for personal privacy that has long been a hallmark of American life?”

Specifically, Podesta expressed concern about the relevance of legal precedents being used to justify massive data collection on the digital era, a view apparently in sync with Monday’s court ruling. “In the United States, court decisions from the pre-internet days suggest that the information we give away voluntarily to these companies can be obtained fairly easily by the government,” he said.

“That legal rule may have made sense in an age before Facebook and iPhones, but we need a serious examination of whether it still makes sense today.”

Hours before Tuesday's meeting, Snowden released an open letter to Brazil, offering to shed light on US spying in return for political asylum. Snowden currently has temporary asylum in Russia. The White House has rejected the suggestion that administration might offer him amnesty.

The idea of an amnesty in return for Snowden securing data was floated by Richard Ledgett, the senior NSA official tasked managing the fallout from Snowden’s leaks – and a potential candidate to become the new director of the spy agency.

Pakistani Police Thwart Attack On Anti-Polio Team

Pakistani security forces have aborted a militant attack on a group of health workers administering a polio vaccination campaign in the country’s main seaport and financial center of Karachi, killing one gunman and arresting another.

The two Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) militants sought to attack the polio team in the city's northern neighborhood of Ahsanabad on Tuesday, but escorting police repelled their assault.

"Two people named Ameer Hamza and Misbah, both from TTP, came to attack polio workers and one of them was injured when the police retaliated," senior police officer Muneer Shaikh said.

Police officer Khalid Khan said the wounded militant, identified as Misbah, later succumbed to his gunshot wounds in hospital.

No police officer or member of the polio team was harmed in the incident.

Law enforcement forces later seized the militants’ weapons, and vaccination was abandoned in the area.

Taliban militants in Pakistan have ordered a ban on polio vaccination campaigns, saying it could be a cover-up for espionage activities by the United States in the country.

The Taliban says it would not allow the vaccination campaign to be conducted as long as the United States continues its assassination drone attacks in Pakistan.

Several anti-polio workers have been killed and taken as prisoner in recent months in various regions of Pakistan.

On December 13, unknown gunmen killed a policeman on his way to guard a polio vaccination campaign in northwestern Pakistan, leaving a second officer wounded.

On November 23, Pakistani militants kidnapped eleven teachers working in a polio vaccination campaign for schoolchildren along the border with Afghanistan.

The teachers were reportedly taken to an area controlled by militant leader Mangal Bagh and his Taliban-affiliated Lashkar-e-Islam group.

Along with a surge in violence, Pakistan has also witnessed a rise in polio cases.

According to the World Health Organization, Pakistan recorded 72 cases of polio this year. The figure marks an increase of 14 cases from the number registered in the South Asian country in 2012.
