URBANA —

A conference planned this weekend in Urbana will explore issues surrounding the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.

The Midwest 9/11 Truth Conference will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the auditorium of the Urbana Free Library, 210 W. Green St.

The event is sponsored by UC 9/11 Truth Urbana-Champaign.

Admission is free and open to the public.

People who have been studying the events of Sept. 11 will talk about their perspectives on the attacks.

"According to national and international polls, nearly 30 percent of the population is skeptical of the 'official' version of the events of 9/11," said Steve Francis of UC 9/11 Truth Champaign-Urbana. "The 9/11 Commission Report is viewed as a cover-up by a significant percentage of citizens and the 9/11 Truth Movement seeks to find answers to these questions about the real cause of those atrocities."

The conference will begin the presentation of a documentary film, "Explosive Evidence: Experts Speak Out."

James Fetzer, the founder of Scholars for 9/11 Truth, will comment on the documentary and report on scientific findings.

Wayne Madsen, editor of WayneMadsenReport.com, will provide an analysis of who may have been responsible for the attacks and why.

Kevin Barrett, co-founder of the Muslim-Jewish-Christian Alliance for 9/11 Truth, will serve as moderator and will add his perspective on the issues.

For more information on the event, call Fetzer at 608-354-4280.

Democracy Games : Strike Syria, Ignite Iraq

Obama, UK, EU criminals still believe they can ride out WWIII in their taxpayer-financed, luxury bunkers and emerge to rule the world by themselves just as oil company thieves believe that their oil will still sell to a dead world

If the Obama Administration orders the US military to attack Syria, Iraq will burst into flames overnight. Several Iraqi groups have declared that they would attack US interests inside Iraq and elsewhere in the Middle East in retaliation.

WWIII is preferable to Obama/UK/EU criminals in light of ongoing Snowden revelations
Violence in Iraq has intensified as a result of the US-led covert war on Syria. This has made the Iraqi government very eager to see an end to the fighting in the neighboring country. When it comes to its position on the Syrian conflict, Iraq is in the same camp as Russia, Iran, and China. Baghdad firmly supports Russian, Iranian, and Chinese calls for a negotiated settlement, and is opposed to any ideas of a US attack on Syria.

The Militia Factor

A US Strike on Syria will not only see Syrian retaliation. There will be a regional response against a US attack that will include Iraq.

While Mohammed Javad Zarif, the foreign minister of Iran, has denied that Tehran will target American interest in Iraq, he has warned that a US attack on Syria will not be able to contain the violent consequences. Iran may not intervene directly inside Iraq to attack the interests of the US, as Foreign Minister Zarif emphasized during a press conference in Baghdad he held with his Iraqi counterpart, but this does mean that the Iraqi groups allied to Iran will attack US interests inside Iraq.

Iraqi militias like Asayib Ahl Al-Haq have openly warned that they will retaliate against the United States.

If the US attacks Syria, then Iraq cannot avoid being drawn into the conflict. Even if the Iraqi government declared itself neutral, in one way or another Iraq will be drawn into a war against the United States. American officials are aware of this too. The Wall Street Journal has even reported that US officials have said that the US Embassy in Baghdad was a potential target if a US attack on Syria takes place.

Overtly emphasizing the Iranian connection, the Associated Press had this to report on the repercussions that the US would face inside Iraq from an attack on Syria: “Iranian-backed Shiite militias are threatening to retaliate against American interests inside Iraq if the United States goes ahead with strikes against the Tehran-allied government in Syria, according to Iraqi security officials and militants themselves.”

Threat To Oil Production

The Iraqi militias will attack the major business interests of the United States inside Iraq. American oil interests inside Iraq are especially vulnerable. What this essentially translates to in the vernacular is “kiss your sweet oil goodbye, Yankees.”

Reuters has reported that American oil companies are under close watch by the militias inside Iraq and that Exxon has moved “most of its workforce from the southern West Qurna-1 oilfield project to Dubai until tensions ease.”

The operations of Exxon Mobil and the Anglo-American oil giant BP will both come under attack in Iraq and be paralyzed. If US allies such as Britain get involved, then they too can expect their companies, like the Anglo-Dutch Royal Dutch Shell, to be attacked and paralyzed.

Regional Chain Of Resistance

The mainstream media in the US, Western Europe, and the Arab petro-sheikhdoms are quick to point to an Iranian connection with the militias in Iraq, whereas the Shiite Muslim nature of these militias has provided an opportunity for the mouthpieces of the Arab regimes of the Persian Gulf to demonize and slander the Shiites as a threat to the Middle East.

These mouthpieces are essentially running a smear campaign about a Shiite Muslim conspiracy. The London-based Al-Hayat newspaper, a tool of Saudi propaganda owned by Prince Khaled bin Sultan, has alleged that these Shiite militias are getting ready for a sectarian regional war that will see them eventually go to fight in not only Syria, but also in Bahrain and Yemen.

An Iraqi retaliation against the US goes beyond Iranian influence. The Iraqi cleric Moqtada Sadr, who does not always see things eye to eye with Iran, promised twice with high fanfare in 2006 — once during a visit in Tehran and a second time while in Damascus—that his forces would help either Syria or Iran in any possible future wars against the US. The Iraqi cleric even emphasized that the US, the UK, and Israel were the common enemies of Syria and Iraq and working to divide the people of both countries. Even though Sadr has decided to distance himself from the events in Syria and has disagreements with Tehran, many of his followers are supportive of Damascus.

The bottom line is that Iraqis will use the opportunity of a Pentagon strike on Syria to retaliate against the US in sympathy and solidarity with Syrians. Moreover, some of these militias, including the one controlled by Moqtada Sadr, fought as resistance movements against the US and UK forces occupying Iraq. This has cultivated a sense of commitment to any regional project that opposes and resists the US and its allies. This has fixed these Iraqi groups to the Resistance Bloc that includes Syria.

While the misleading reports about the plans of these Iraqi militias to create a network to act regionally are mostly propaganda, the anticipation of a regional war in the Middle East is not. An attack on Syria will not be contained within Syrian borders. It will escalate regionally in the Middle East and even develop into a global conflict outside of the Middle East’s borders.

Beyond Syria And Iraq..

If it decided to attack Syria, the US would literally be putting a match to a powder keg in the Middle East. Iraq would just be the start. The whole neighborhood would eventually catch fire.

Aside from taking extra security measure in Iraq, the US government has asked many of its diplomatic staff to leave the US Embassy in Beirut, Lebanon. The US has also urged American citizens to leave Lebanon, because Lebanon will almost automatically be drawn into an American conflict with Syria. Hezbollah and other Lebanese groups are allied to Syria and will support Damascus against the US and its allies.

Turkey and Israel, both major cheerleaders of a US-led attack will certainly get involved. Turkey’s Prime Minister Erdogan has even foolishly declared that Turkey will join the US in any military action without thinking of the consequence for Turkey, as if the fighting in Kurdistan or the instability on the border has not been enough for him and the AKP. Faisal Mekdad, the deputy foreign minister of Syria, has also warned that his country will militarily retaliate against Israel, Jordon, and Turkey in response to American attack against Syria.

Syria does not stand alone either. It has many friends and allies around the world. Russia, Iran, and China, Syria’s three most powerful backers, form a formidable opposition to the US and its allies.

For the sake of diplomacy, the Iranian government, Syria’s staunchest ally, has avoided making any direct threats against the US and prevented its military commanders from making any aggressive statements that could aggravate the situation after President Obama announced his plans to strike Syria. Tehran, however, would become involved in the conflict. Together with Syria, the involvement of Iran, Hezbollah, various Palestinian groups, and their Iraqi allies would turn the entire region from the Eastern Mediterranean to NATO-garrisoned Afghanistan into a giant conflict zone.

If American oil corporations are expecting disruption in Iraq as a result of an American attack on Syria, then they should be aware that expansion of the conflict would disrupt global oil supplies. Economically, the entire world will feel the pain generated from such a conflict. The prices of oil and gas will go up. This will lead to higher fuel, transportation, and production prices that will raise costs in almost every sector. Airfare, public transportation, food products, industrial goods, heating, and shipping prices will become greater as a result.

Then there is the reaction of Moscow, Syria’s other big strategic partner, which has to be considered by the United States. President Putin has made it extremely clear that the Russian Federation will support Damascus if the US does attack it directly. The US cannot ignore the Russian naval presence off the Syrian coast or Russia’s military capabilities. If the situation escalates, the Russian naval armada in the Mediterranean could assist Syria.

The Chinese have even sent a warship as an indicator of where they stand.

No wonder there is a popular campaign in the US against the war in Syria that in its satirical message asks Americans to support Obama “kickstart World War III” by attacking Syria.

Syria Gives Russia Proof Rebels Behind Chemical Attack

Instead of kissing the feet of Russia for providing a face-saving way out of their debacle, Kerry/Hague/Hollande forgo shooting themselves in the foot and aim for their empty, criminal heads

TIMES OF INDIA via AP

MOSCOW -

Syria has turned over materials to Russia which aim to show that a chemical weapons attack last month was carried out by the rebels, a top Russian diplomat visiting Damascus says.

YO blood!  We be wait'in on our next U.S./UK sarin load!
The August 21 attack precipitated the current high tensions over Syria's chemical weapons and sparked a plan under which Syria is to abandon the weapons. A report by UN investigators confirmed that chemical weapons were used Aug. 21 but did not say by which side in Syria's civil war.

The ITAR-Tass news agency on Wednesday quoted deputy foreign minister Sergei Ryabkov as saying that Syria told Russian officials the material "bears witness to the rebels participating in the chemical attack" but that Russia has not yet drawn any conclusions.

Ryabkov was meeting on Wednesday with Syrian President Bashar Assad, Russian news agencies reported. There were no immediate details on the talks.

Russia has been Syria's main ally since the start of the conflict in March 2011, blocking proposed UN resolutions that would impose sanctions on Assad's regime and opposing an attempt to authorize the use of force if Syria does not abide by the agreement to get rid of its chemical weapons.

Spastic, drooling dickface snorting his own product
Assigning responsibility for the August 21 attack has become a heated international diplomatic issue. Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov and his French counterpart Laurent Fabius sharply differed on the topic after meeting in Moscow on Tuesday. Lavrov said Moscow has reason to believe the attack was a provocation staged by the rebels, while Fabius said the evidence clearly implicates the government side.

Russia also has repeatedly claimed that a chemical weapons attack in Syria on March 19 was committed by the rebels.

The reports did not specify the nature of the new material turned over by Syria to Russia, which Ryabkov said would be closely analyzed.

Obama criminals found out quickly that Americans DO remember the lies of this blithering, mass-murdering idiot
"But considering that earlier we came to the corresponding conclusion about the incident of March 19, we are inclined to treat with great seriousness the material from the Syrian side about the involvement of the rebels in the chemical attack of Aug. 21," Ryabkov said, according to ITAR-Tass.

The fighting in Syria has killed more than 100,000 people, according to activists and the U.N., and has forced 7 million to flee their homes. Five million Syrians have been displaced inside the country and more than 2 million have sought refuge in the neighboring countries of Jordan, Lebanon, Turkey and Iraq, according to the UN.

Russia Says U.N. Report On Syria Attack Preconceived, Political

Bogus attempts to save face on Russia's dime by fascist liar morons Kerry, Hague and Hollande backfire

Russia denounced U.N. investigators' findings on a poison gas attack in Syria as preconceived and tainted by politics on Wednesday, stepping up its criticism of a report Western nations said proved President Bashar al-Assad's forces were responsible.

"No, NOOOOOOO!!! PRREEZE!  We didn't meant it!!  REARRY! GODDAMN THAT KERRY AND HAGUE!!!!
Russia, which has veto power in the Security Council, could cite such doubts about proof of culpability in opposing future efforts by the United States, Britain and France to punish Syria for any violations of a deal to abandon chemical weapons.

"We are disappointed, to put it mildly, about the approach taken by the U.N. secretariat and the U.N. inspectors, who prepared the report selectively and incompletely," Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov told the state-run Russian news agency RIA in Damascus.

"Without receiving a full picture of what is happening here, it is impossible to call the nature of the conclusions reached by the U.N. experts ... anything but politicized, preconceived and one-sided," said Ryabkov, who met Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Moualem late on Tuesday and Assad on Wednesday.

Lavrov betrayed by UN, Lurch Kerry, Hague, Hollande after magnanimously giving them a face-saving way out; will not be bitten in the ass again by U.S., UK, EU, Frog criminals
The report issued on Monday confirmed the nerve agent sarin was used in the August 21 attack but did not assign blame. Britain, France and the United States said it confirmed Syria's government, not rebels as Russia has suggested, was behind it.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Tuesday the investigation was incomplete without examination of evidence from other sources and that suspicions of chemical use after August 21 should also be investigated.

Ryabkov said Syrian authorities had given him alleged evidence of chemical weapons use by Assad's opponents.

The stark disagreement over blame for the attack may complicate discussions among Security Council members - Russia, China, the United states, Britain and France - over a Western-drafted resolution to eliminate Syria's chemical weapons.

"We are surprised by Russia's attitude because they are calling into question not the report, but the objectivity of the inspectors," French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius said in Paris on Wednesday.

"I don't think anybody can call into question inspectors that have been appointed by the U.N.," said Fabius, who met Lavrov in Moscow on Tuesday and said several aspects of the U.N. report clearly pointed to Syrian government involvement.

MEETING ASSAD

Russia has been Assad's most powerful backer during the conflict that has killed more than 100,000 people since 2011, delivering weapons and - with China - blocking Western efforts to use the Security Council's clout to pressure his government.

U.S., UK owned "mainstream media" war whores will face prosecution for aiding and abetting White House criminals
Moscow argues that the danger emanates from rebels, many of whom harbor militant Islamist ambitions for Syria that could ultimately pose a threat both to Russia, which is fighting against Islamist militants on its southern fringe, and the West.

In his meeting with Ryabkov, Assad voiced appreciation "for Russia's stances in support of Syria in the face of the vicious attack and ... terrorism which is backed by Western, regional and Arab forces", Syrian state news agency SANA said.

The draft resolution is intended to support a U.S.-Russian deal reached on Saturday calling for Syria to account for its chemical weapons within a week and for their destruction by mid-2014. The accord was based on a Russian proposal accepted by Assad.

The deal halted efforts by U.S. President Barack Obama to win Congressional approval for military action to punish Assad for the gas attack, which the United States says killed more than 1,400 people in rebel-held areas.

Murdering Propagandist Scum:  Carney and other whores that shill for their genocidal masters will be prosecuted, executed for mass killings, war crimes along with their masters
U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry called on Tuesday for a resolution with the strength to force compliance from Assad.

Diplomats said the current U.S.-British-French draft was written so that its provisions were under Chapter 7 of the U.N. charter, which covers Security Council authority to enforce its decisions with measures such as sanctions or force.

But Russia has made clear it believes authorization of the use of force would require a second resolution to be introduced if the Syrian government or its opponents are found to have violated the country's commitments on chemical weapons.

Britain Provides Syria With Chemicals Required For Sarin Production

Cross-dressing MP rapists, pederasts just as vulnerable as to ongoing Snowden revelations as White House criminals

PRESS TV
09/18/2013

The UK government, which is spearheading plots to accuse Syrian government of President Bashar al-Assad of using chemical weapons against its own people, has been supplying Syria with the poisonous chemicals since 2004, it has been revealed.

Want some cannndddy, little boy?
President Assad enjoys the full support of a majority of the Syrian nation and his government is considered the major force behind the resistance front against the Zionist regime of Israel’s expansionist policies in the Middle East region.

The revelation comes as the Syrian government provided Russia with evidence proving that foreign-backed terrorists were responsible for the recent chemical weapons attack inside the country.

A senior Russian Foreign Ministry official confirmed on Tuesday that Moscow has received the evidence from Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Muallem, adding “This evidence must be analyzed”.

The development came after a UN report by United Nations weapons inspectors on Monday affirmed the use of nerve agent sarin in the suburb of the capital city of Damascus, without revealing who launched the attack.

Lying, warmongering UK, US, Frog pederasts of a feather desperate to start WWIII to cover for their own crimes
Earlier on Tuesday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov expounded on the UN report about the August 21 chemical weapons attack, which allegedly killed hundreds of people, saying it had produced no evidence confirming that Syrian government forces conducted the attack and that Russia still believed the foreign-backed terrorists were the main perpetrators.

According to Lavrov, the UN report also failed to answer some important questions about for example where the weapons had come from, or whether they were produced in a factory or were imported illegally.

"We have very serious grounds to believe that this was a provocation," Lavrov said.

Lavrov provides Kerry, Obama with face-saving way out of their debacle; is then bitten in the ass by White House criminals for his magnanimity
The Assad government has also categorically rejected claims by the UK, U.S. and certain other countries, which were pursuing the incident as a pretext to invade Syria militarily.

Syria also accepted a Russian-brokered proposal to put its arsenal of chemical arms under international control and joined the international convention prohibiting the use of chemical weapons.

However, a Daily Mail report revealed on Sunday that the UK government had issued five licences to two companies during the period between July 2004 and May 2010, allowing them to provide Syria with chemical sodium fluoride, which can be used to produce the nerve agent sarin.
Britain has admitted the delivery of the chemical substance, according to the report, which said the British firms clearly violated international protocol on the trade of dangerous substances, by selling sodium fluoride to a Syrian company.

"These are very disturbing revelations uncovered by the Daily Mail regarding the provision of sodium fluoride to Syria. At no time should we have allowed President Assad’s regime to get its hands on this substance,” the Daily Mail quoted British MP Thomas Docherty, also a member of the Commons Arms Export Controls Committee, as saying.

“Previously we thought that while export licences had been granted, no chemicals were actually delivered. Now we know that in the build-up to the Syrian civil war, British companies - with the backing of our government - were supplying this potentially lethal substance," Docherty said.

Hundreds of people have so far been killed in Syria in an insurgency launched and sponsored by foreign-backed al-Qaeda terrorists, who are seeking to topple the legitimate and popular government of President Bashar al-Assad.
