What Goes Around Comes Around: The Karma of Political Deception - Analyst

This analysis should be required reading for Obama regime and both lying, thieving houses of congress

By Danny Schechter

Politicians follow laws or make their own but often don’t think that one of the oldest moral admonitions applies to them: the law of karma. That’s the one, seeped in Buddhist philosophy, but accepted by other religious traditions, that says ‘what goes around comes around.’
"Kiss my ass, Americans"
It’s a variant of the biblical injunction to do unto others what you want others to do unto you and the notion that for every action there’s a reaction.

The concept has many interpreters including this one: “Karma is not punishment or retribution but simply an extended expression or consequence of natural acts. Karma means "deed" or "act" and more broadly names the universal principle of cause and effect, action and reaction, that governs all life.”

Here’s President Obama committed to high tech warfare turning the skies into a shooting gallery. The idea of course is to precisely find and target enemies using super computers and image enhancement technologies to neutralize (i.e. kill) individuals who in military parlance are labeled “bad guys,” as if all of combat is an extension of the cowboy and Indian movies many Americans grew up with.

Hundreds of millions were invested to enable some soldier, or more likely, some “contractor,” to sit in front of screens in a desert base outside of Las Vegas to play video games with the lives of alleged enemies by steering a fleet of armed robotic drones on missions of elimination on the other side of the world.

The button is pushed, but then, as is the case in every casino every day in Vegas, something goes wrong. In the flash of an eye or miscalculation, winners invariably turn into losers in gambling dens as on battlefields when the wrong people get bombed.

Call it collateral damage even as others call it murder. Soon, Afghan President Karzai is up in arms, shocked (just shocked!) that no one shared the targeting list with him, so that he and his entourage have to witness another case of homes destroyed and the bodies of the innocent strewn all over a village while peasants wail in grief and anger.

One consequence, karma strikes: the attackers have now unintentionally stirred counter-attackers and, soon, the fighting escalates even as the intent was to stop it by bumping off a few terrible terrorists.

Washington now has to apologize or pay compensation as another “surgical” strike” goes awry. A technical triumph turns into another PR disaster.

Few media outlets reference the proven limits of American airpower. More bombs were dropped on Vietnam than in all of World War II but the Vietnamese prevailed. “Shock and Awe” in Iraq inspired Iraqi resistance, not passivity, while the bombing of Tora Bora in Afghanistan did not “get” bin Laden whose company built the cave complex in the first place and knew its ins and outs.

Speaking of “Collateral Damage:” that was also the name of the video released by Wikileaks that showed US helicopter pilots killing civilians, including journalists, in Baghdad.

The matter was investigated thoroughly but it was not the military perpetrators who were persecuted; only one soldier, Bradley Manning, who allegedly released it was held responsible. Manning is now on trial in America for disseminating secret information.

Last week, a judge ruled that his trial will go ahead, assuring his scapegoat/martyr status, and, as a warm up to the expected persecution of editor/publisher Julian Assange who a British court has ordered to be extradited to Sweden. That decision was made on the basis of an interpretation of a legal standard that was, bizarrely, never even raised in his trial. Once in Stockholm, it is expected he will be “invited” to the USA.

The point of the exercise was to show one and all what happens to people that leak precious secrets. Unexpectedly, Wikileaks quickly dropped out of the news to be replaced by our leaks.

While all this was going on, none other than President Obama himself started gloating about his decision to give himself the power to order killings of perceived enemies. He talked about controlling his own personal kill list, no doubt to show how tough he is in an election campaign where the downslide of the economy domestically has him searching desperately for an upside internationally.

It was also revealed that the US had worked with Israel on dangerous cyber viruses implanted in Iran and other countries.

This moment of bravura in turn led to outrage in Congress, not because of his newly self-defined power to assassinate but because it should be a secret kept from the public. Legislators also feared that, once publicized and rationalized, our cyber attacks could lead to others feeling justified in attacking us.

Karma strikes again. Now the warrior-in-chief is being accused of being a leaker-in-chief with multiple investigations up the yin yang underway.

As the press reported, “President Obama yesterday insisted the White House wasn’t behind national security leaks that wound up in flattering news stories.

Stung by criticism that his aides were dishing secrets to The New York Times and other media to bolster his re-election campaign, Obama said he’d investigate.

In some cases, these are criminal acts,” he said at the White House. “We have mechanisms in place where if we can root out folks who have leaked, they will suffer consequences.”

Wait, there’s more: “The Democratic and Republican chiefs of the Senate and House intelligence committees denounced the leaks this week and said they were drafting legislation to limit access to top national secrets. The FBI said it was launching its own investigation.

Later yesterday, Attorney General Eric Holder announced that he has assigned two US attorneys to lead criminal investigations into the allegations of unauthorized leaks: the US attorney for the District of Columbia Ronald C. Machen Jr. and US attorney for the District of Maryland Rod J. Rosenstein.”

Now we have an army of investigators galore certain to stumble over each other.

Meanwhile, the NY Times which first exposed the Administration’s expanded covert/cyber warfare reported that official investigations like these rarely go anywhere, or lead to effective prosecutions and new truths emerging.

What has happened is another case of karma writ large, with a president who was trying to go on the offensive now on the defensive, accused of the very practices that he is accusing others of.

Anyone with any memory-and that usually excludes the press-will remember that all of this bad karma leads to paranoia and paralysis in high places as it did in the days leading up to Watergate in a June like this one in ’73 when Henry Kissinger and President Nixon were on the warpath looking for leakers to punish.

In the end, it was their gooses being cooked. When will Karma strike again?

Self-Confessed Cocaine Trafficker Lindsay Sandiford Lies Regarding Indonesian Arrest in Failed Attempt to Generate Sympathy

A completely stupid move for a scumbag drug trafficker who has already confessed:  Sandiford will soon find out that Indonesian authorities do not like being framed, lied about, and has now through her own lies almost assured she gets the firing squad:  How many times does it need to be said:  DRUG TRAFFICKERS IN INDONESIA GET THE DEATH PENALTY

Canberra Times
By Jane Holroyd

A British woman facing the possibility of death by firing squad in Bali for importing cocaine claims she had no idea what was in her suitcase and says Indonesian police tied her to a chair for two days and pointed a gun at her head.

Not only is Indonesia not the U.S., EU or Australia where drug traffickers do not face the death penalty, Indonesian authorities are not stupid and neither are they a backward push-over, they are highly trained and experienced; Sandiford knew EXACTLY what she was doing, and now by stupidly lying about her treatment in an attempt to garner sympathy has almost guaranteed that she will be shot:  Why would the authorities threaten someone who has already confessed?

Lindsay Sandiford, 55, was arrested in Bali last month along with three other Britons when customs officials alleged they found 4.7kg of cocaine hidden behind a panel in her suitcase. The drugs had a value of $AUD2.5 million.

In an interview with Britain’s Daily Mail newspaper, Ms Sandiford said she agreed to travel from Bangkok to Bali with unknown goods in her suitcase because she believed it would help her 21-year-old son Elliot, who she claims had been threatened by drug dealers in England.

The mother-of-two who has lived in the Himalayan region of India with her second husband for the past five years says became aware of her younger son’s predicament on a trip back to England in March. She told the newspaper she travelled back to England to help Elliot move flats and to greet her older son Louis as he finished a stint in prison for robbery.

Ms Sandiford said a drugs gang believed Elliot was a police informer.

‘‘I got a call from someone — I don’t know who — telling me my boy was a snitch and they would kill him if I didn’t put things right.’’

‘‘Elliot told me he was on the run because he had had death threats. He said, ‘Mum you’ve got to help me’.’’

Ms Sandiford claimed she was contacted by phone by a male acquaintance she knew 20 years ago who told her to meet him in a McDonald’s restaurant. She said the man told her she should start checking out flights to Australia. Ms Sandiford returned to India and was then contacted by the man in April who told her to travel to Bangkok and book into a hotel for seven days.

Ms Sandiford claimed she was met in Bangkok by the man’s girlfriend and the pair spent time shopping together before a man called ‘‘Chubby’’ turned up at Ms Sandiford’s hotel room and put something in her suitcase and told her to fly to Bali.

‘‘I knew what they were asking me to do was something dodgy,’’ she said. ‘‘They weren’t asking me to bring in tulips or balls of cheese but I didn’t know if it was money, gold, jewellery, guns, marijuana or heroin. I had no idea.’’

Ms Sandiford claims she did not know the man had hidden cocaine in her luggage until her arrest after touching down in Bali.

She said that after her arrest she was interrogated by Indonesian police who forced her to participate in a sting operation to capture other drug smugglers. Ms Sandiford said police tied her to a chair for two days, pointed a pistol at her head and forced her to stay awake by screaming every time she started to fall asleep.

She says she began to name people after the ordeal and agreed to help police trap those she implicated. Ms Sandiford said she was taken by police to the arranged pick-up point where she handed over a fake parcel of drugs to a man in a car.

‘‘Police promised me they would intercept me before I got in the car,’’ she said in a tearful interview. ‘‘I thought if something goes wrong they will kill me or police will get out their guns and shoot us.’’ Police stopped the car further up the road and arrested the man.

Ms Sandiford, who claims she lives in a mud brick home in India and makes a living selling jewellery and cashmere, said she now feared for her son’s life and her own. She said she could not afford to pay her legal bills, which her defence lawyer told her would cost about £32,000.

‘‘I could get the death penalty... I am so frightened. I could die here.’’

Japan’s Nuclear Industry : The CIA Link

As CIA fortunes decline worldwide, Obama's murdering scum spasmodically lash out, attempt to strong-arm former "allies" in Japan

Wall Street Journal
By Elanor Warnock

In the 15 months since the crisis at Fukushima Daiichi, Japan’s relationship with nuclear power has changed dramatically.

This generation will see death of CIA, murdering scum "agents"
Once the world’s third-largest producer of nuclear energy, the country faces the prospect of electricity shortages this summer as all 50 of its plants remain offline. Restarting reactors — a step the government says is necessary to support the economy — is proving to be politically tricky as a skeptical public questions the safety of atomic energy.

Rewind almost 60 years and the government had a similar problem: how to persuade the public to support its ambition to become a nuclear nation only nine years after the U.S. dropped atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki?

According to one Japanese university professor, that ambition was achieved with help from an unlikely source: the CIA.

Tetsuo Arima, a researcher at Waseda University in Tokyo, told JRT he discovered in the U.S. National Archives a trove of declassified CIA files that showed how one man, Matsutaro Shoriki, was instrumental in jumpstarting Japan’s nascent nuclear industry.

Mr. Shoriki was many things: a Class A war criminal, the head of the Yomiuri Shimbun (Japan’s biggest-selling and most influential newspaper) and the founder of both the country’s first commercial broadcaster and the Tokyo Giants baseball team. Less well known, according to Mr. Arima, was that the media mogul worked with the CIA to promote nuclear power.

In 1954, Japan saw widespread anti-U.S. and anti-nuclear demonstrations after Japanese fishermen were exposed to radiation due to the U.S.’s testing of a hydrogen bomb at Bikini Atoll.

Mr. Shoriki, backed by the CIA, used his influence to publish articles in the Yomiuri that extolled the virtues of nuclear power, according to the documents found by Mr. Arima. Keen on remilitarizing Japan, Mr. Shoriki endorsed nuclear power in hopes its development would one day arm the country with the ability to make its own nuclear weapons, according to Mr. Arima. Mr. Shoriki’s behind-the-scenes push created a chain reaction in other media that eventually changed public opinion.

“Shoriki wasn’t alone in what he did. He just had the power and the influence to bring together the U.S., the Japanese business community and politicians, and he was a smooth talker,” Mr. Arima, who went on to write two books about his findings, said in an interview with JRT.

Japan’s first commercial nuclear reactor went online in 1966, only 21 years after the end of the war. Although Mr. Shoriki lived until 1969, Mr. Arima said that his relationship with the CIA appears to have ended in the late 1950s.

But it wasn’t just the smooth-talking Mr. Shoriki and his CIA backers that gave rise to Japan’s dependence on nuclear power. Mr. Arima stressed that other forces played a part in shaping the industry — forces that still exert their influence on the debate over nuclear power today:

“Relying on nuclear power was something that Japan desired, something that the government decided to help Japan develop and flourish. Oil was just not enough, so nuclear power was an economic necessity.”

Spain Bends Over for Merkel, EU Bank Criminals; Spanish Angry Over Humiliating Bank Rescue

Angry?  The Spanish just committed suicide and are headed for something a lot worse than humiliation, which they richly deserve for allowing this further theft of The People's money and future and throwing them, their children and grandchildren into slavery for generations to come

Associated Press
By Alan Clendenning

Spain's grinding economic misery will get worse this year, despite the country's request for a European financial lifeline of up to €100 billion ($125 billion) to save its banks, Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy said Sunday.

Artificial EU, created by dictators and elitists to rule world, is dead
A day after the country conceded it needed outside help following months of denying it would seek assistance, Rajoy said more Spaniards will lose their jobs in a country where one out of every four are already unemployed.

"This year is going to be a bad one," Rajoy said Sunday in his first comments about the rescue since it was announced the previous evening by his economy minister.

The conservative prime minister added that the economy, stuck in its second recession in three years, will still contract the previously predicted 1.7 percent in 2012 even with the help.

Spain on Saturday became the fourth — and largest — of the 17 countries that use Europe's common currency to request a bailout. This is a big blow to a nation that a few years ago took pride as the continent's economic superstar only to see it become the hot spot in the eurozone debt crisis. Its economy is the eurozone's fourth largest after Germany, France and Italy.

Bush brazenly began the thieving in 2001, and other world leaders decided if this moron could steal the entire U.S. Treasury, so could they in their own countries.  The EU was conceived to spread the accountability for the emptying of the public coffers of Euro countries, make pinning the blame and holding the criminal dictators and bankers responsible all but impossible - and it almost worked

Although Spain has not yet said how much money it would seek, the Eurogroup — finance ministers of the 17-country eurozone, of which Spain is a member — said in a statement Saturday that it was prepared to lend up to €100 billion. The funds, which will come from one of three pools of emergency financing eurozone countries can access, will be sent to the Spanish government's Fund for Orderly Bank Restructuring (FROB), which would then use the money to strengthen the country's teetering banks.

Across the country, Spaniards reacted with a mixture of anger and relief to the news. The full amount of the eurogroup's lifeline amounts to €21,000 of new debt for each person — almost equal to the average salary in a country of 47 million where the unemployment rate for those under age 25 is 52 percent.

Sarkozy first criminal to fall, soon to be followed by Merkel, others
The country is already reeling from deep austerity cuts Rajoy has imposed over the last six months that have raised taxes, made it easier to hire and fire workers, and cut deep into cherished government programs, including education and national health care.

"It's obviously a shame," said civil servant Luisa Saraguren, 44, as she strolled on a sunny Sunday morning with her young daughter. "But this bailout was fully predictable, and the consequences of this help are going to be a lot bigger compared to the cuts we've been living with already."

Rajoy took pains to avoid the word bailout Sunday, saying Spain's rescue package is a line of credit that its most troubled banks will be able to tap. The assistance will not come with the outside control over government macroeconomic policy like that imposed Greece, Ireland and Portugal when their public finances were bailed out.

He said interest rates on the loans will be considerably lower than the rate near 7 percent that Spain has been forced to pay recently on the international debt markets, a level that forced the other countries to seek bailouts. The government will be responsible for collecting repayments from the banks, with interest, and returning the money to the Eurogroup, although interest rates and loan duration details have not yet been revealed.

German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble said Spain's debt to GDP ratio was more favorable that even Germany's, with Spain at 78 percent of GDP and Germany's at 82 percent.

"Spain is making the necessary reforms to improve its competitiveness and to limit its fiscal policy to a sustainable deficit. By the way, Spain's overall debt (ratio) is lower than Germany's," Schaeuble said.

The bailout also spurred Irish opposition finance spokesman Michael McGrath to criticize his government for not having negotiated better terms, saying it needed "to start fighting Ireland's corner in a more vigorous and forceful way."

Spain hopes to regain the economic credibility it has lost by shoring up its banks. This should result in credit being restored so businesses and individuals shut off from loans can start borrowing and the economy will grow again, Rajoy insisted, again without saying when.

Europe's widening recession and financial crisis have hurt companies and investors around the world. Providing a financial lifeline to Spanish banks is likely to relieve anxiety on the Spanish economy — which is five times larger than Greece's — and on markets concerned about the country's ability to pay its way.

Spain's government will make a formal approach for aid once independent audits of the country's banking industry have been carried out.

Playing kissy-face with a corpse:  No more Sarkozy slobbering for Merkel, as she has her own date with the hangman

It is not yet clear whether the money will come from the EU's €440 billion European Financial Stability Facility, the new €500 billion European Stability Mechanism, or a combination of the two.

The deal is to be underwritten by the Spanish state, which will use the FROB as its mechanism to funnel the loan to banks in need. Opposition leader Alfredo Perez Rubalcaba said he had discussed the loan with Rajoy and added that for it not to increase the national deficit the entire amount borrowed will have to be paid back to the treasury by the banks, "including the corresponding interests."

Economy minister Luis de Guindos said 30 percent of the banking system needed recapitalization. The IMF in its financial stability assessment report said, without listing names, that Spain's two large internationally active banks "are well diversified." It is understood that these are Banco Santander and BBVA.

It said seven former savings banks that have received state support "rely significantly on FROB for capital and liquidity support" and that other medium and small private sector banks which account for approximately 11 percent of domestic banking were also exposed to the real estate and construction sector.

Spain's financial problems are not due to Greek-style government over-spending. The country's banks, particularly its savings banks or "cajas," got caught up in the collapse of a real estate bubble in 2008 that got worse over the past four years. However, as Spain's leaders have struggled for a solution to their banking crisis, the country's borrowing costs have soared close to the level that forced the governments of Greece, Portugal and Ireland to seek rescues.

Some of Spain's banks are struggling with toxic real estate loans and assets amid fears the problem will get worse as more jobless people can't pay their mortgages. The Bank of Spain says the toxic loans and assets total around €180 billion. Nationalized lender Bankia SA, which has requested €19 billion in aid, has €32 billion in toxic assets. Around four other banks serving the domestic market were assessed by the IMF report to have large exposure to corporate and retail real estate lending.

"I could never get my mind round the scale of consumption in Spain over the past 20 years, having known it in the 1960s when it was still extremely poor," said Paul Preston, a history professor and expert on Spain with the London School of Economics. "Lots of people enjoyed the consumer boom, but not everybody. Now everybody's having to pay for it."

Rajoy blamed Spain's woes on the previous Socialist administration of Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero without mentioning him or his government by name. Zapatero was ousted by Rajoy in a landslide in November by voters outraged over the Socialist handling of the economy.

"Last year Spain's public administration spent €90 billion more than it took in. This can't be maintained. We can't live like that," Rajoy said.

But Socialist Party leader Rubalcaba said Rajoy should acknowledge that Spain is now in bailout territory.

"The government is trying to make us believe that we've won the lottery, that the Three Kings of Orient have arrived, and that isn't so," Rubalcaba said.

After his news conference, Rajoy defended his decision to jet off an hour later to Poland to see Spain's famed national football team take on Italy in the Euro 2012 competition. He said he would be on the ground in Gdansk only for the game before flying back to Madrid on Sunday night.

"I'll be there 2 ½ hours and then I'll leave," Rajoy said. "I think the national team deserves it."

Rajoy was seen cheering as Cesc Fabregas equalized to give Spain a 1-1 draw against Italy.

WAYNE MADSEN : Fukushima Fallout Real Reason for America's Southeast Asian Projection

Obama and his corporate masters attempts to rule the world meeting with stiff resistance by the Free Peoples of all sovereign nations

Wayne Madsen Report
By Wayne Madsen

WMR's Asian intelligence sources report another, more ominous, aspect to the decision of Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta to move 60 percent of U.S. naval forces to the Pacific region. Panetta announced in a speech at the Shangri-La Dialogue defense conference in Singapore that most of the Navy's littoral combat ships, submarines, cruisers, and destroyers will be deployed in the Pacific. In addition, new U.S. Marine bases are being established in Australia. Panetta, according to our sources, has also been negotiating with leaders of Singapore, India, the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Cambodia, and Thailand the establishment of new U.S. military bases or the re-opening of former bases from the Cold War era. The latter include Subic Bay in the Philippines, U-Tapao airbase in Thailand, and Cam Ranh Bay in Vietnam.

After having his ass handed to him in Iraq, Afghanistan and the entire Middle East, Obama now moving on resource-rich Southeast Asia, prepping the region for U.S./NATO invasions to steal oil, natural resources

The United States has plans to build new bases in Darwin, Perth, the Cocos (Keeling) Islands, and Sihanoukville in Cambodia. The United States' "Compact of Free Association" with the Republic of Palau gives Washington the right to establish military bases in that southern Pacific nation, an option that the Pentagon appears to be close to invoking.

WMR has learned that with the continued high radiation affecting the northern hemisphere as a result of life-threatening radiation continuing to be dispersed into the atmosphere from the meltdown of reactor 4 at the Fukushima Dai'ichi nuclear plant in Japan, the Pentagon wants to preserve most of its military forces and to ensure the protection for American elites who have plans to move to the southern hemisphere, particularly the Southeast Asian region, to escape the effects of the radiation circulating around the northern climes.

Obama, Hag Clinton, elites getting a taste of own nuclear medicine from Fukushima fallout, and are planning to move into relatively fallout-free Southeast Asia to escape being fried, although it won't help the Hag's skin much at this point

Currently under wraps are plans to shift a bulk of the U.S. Air Force to the southern portion of the Asia-Pacific region.

Now that Myanmar is opening to the West, the United States is also eyeing new bases in that country, particularly in Naypyidaw, the new capital city that is said to be relatively safe from the northern hemisphere radiation.

On January 2, 2006, WMR reported: "Southeast Asian intelligence sources report that Burma's (Myanmar's) recent abrupt decision to move its capital from Rangoon (Yangon) to remote Pyinmana, 200 miles to the north, is a result of Chinese intelligence warnings to its Burmese allies about the effects of radiation resulting from a U.S. conventional or tactical nuclear attack on Iranian nuclear facilities. There is concern that a series of attacks on Iranian nuclear installations will create a Chernobyl-like radioactive cloud that would be caught up in monsoon weather in the Indian Ocean.

Burma Muslim pilgrims were victims of this weeks religious riots:  Same old CIA tactics (Jamat)    photo:

Low-lying Rangoon lies in the path of monsoon rains that would continue to carry radioactive fallout from Iran over South and Southeast Asia between May and October. Coastal Indian Ocean cities like Rangoon, Dhaka, Calcutta, Mumbai, Chennai, and Colombo would be affected by the radioactive fallout more than higher elevation cities since humidity intensifies the effects of the fallout. Thousands of government workers were given only two days' notice to pack up and leave Rangoon for the higher (and dryer) mountainous Pyinmana.New housing planned for some of the new U.S. military bases, said to be for rotating military personnel, will be sufficient to accommodate America's political, financial, and military leadership.

No less affected by the radiation from Fukushima, Canada has also announced plans to shift a large portion of its naval, air, and ground forces to the Southeast Asia region with Singapore being the "hub" for the Canadian military. Canadian Defense Minister Peter McKay toured a potential site for the Canadian military during his visit to Singapore to attend the Shangri-La meeting.

Although there is tension between the United States and China, our sources have indicated that confronting China's growing military presence in the region is merely a cover story designed to mask the abandonment of the northern hemisphere by the Pentagon. In fact, Chinese defense officials participated in the Shangri-La Dialogue.

WMR has learned that the recent agreement between the U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and Thailand to establish an atmospheric testing facility at U-Tapao Airport in Rayong is part of the Pentagon's evacuation plans. NASA is being used as a civilian "cover" by the Pentagon.

NASA's SEAC4RS program or Southeast Asia Composition, Cloud, Climate Coupling Regional Study will use aircraft to sample air samples over Southeast Asia for radiation levels from weather patterns that could bring radioactive particles from the northern to southern hemisphere. Aircraft are due to be deployed from U-Tapao beginning in August. A senior Pentagon official met with Thai military Supreme Commander General Thanasak Patimapakorn on June 4 to hammer out final details on the atmospheric testing to be carried out from U-Tapao. Responding to concerns by some Thai members of Parliament that the U-Tapao base has a military aspect, Thai Foreign Minister Surapong Tovichakchaiku may have revealed the actual reason for the base when he stated that it's major purpose was to deal with "natural disasters."

In what amounts to an "On the Beach" scenario -- a reference to the 1960s movie that saw Australia as a temporary safe haven as a result of a nuclear war that killed off all life in the northern hemisphere -- the United States, Canada, and other countries are making preparations to re-locate their political and military elites and ample military forces to protect them to the safest zone from the Fukushima radiation -- Southeast Asia.

Israel is reportedly buying up property in India and Uganda to shelter millions of Jews from Israel, North America, and Europe to escape the effects of the life-threatening radiation in the northern hemisphere.

At the Atomic Age II Symposium at the University of Chicago, Professor Hiroake Koide of the Research Reactor Institute of Kyoto University, displayed a world map showing the "hot zones" for cesium-127 resulting from the Fukushima meltdown. Unsafe zones extend throughout the northern hemisphere from "ground zero" in Fukushima province to deep within the United States' and Canada's prairie state and province food-producing "bread baskets." Koide showed one PowerPoint slide that pointed to a "collapse of life through evacuation."

‘You’re Not Special’ Graduation Speech Sparks Buzz: Obama Mouthpiece Al Jazerra's "The Stream" Bites the Dust, Cancelled; Phony Campaign to Make "Everyone a Journalist" Fails Miserably - Video

Teacher finally gets it right:  Obama's continuation of Rovian program with help of CIA owned and operated Al Jazeera to gut and discredit media professionals by watering down our profession with illiterate, fraud "citizen journalists" fails:  A butcher, a baker, a candlestick maker - we are unique but not all the same and certainly not all Generals, Judges, Admirals, Doctors, Journalists, Musicians; government/bogus "mainstream" media attempts to discredit professional journalists by giving uneducated, untrained losers a cellphone and pronouncing them "citizen journalists" exposed for what it is; if people want to be something and somebody, they have to earn it, it's that simple:  Good riddance to death of "The Stream," a never-ending "stream" of bullshit promoted by frauds who drag losers off the street and attempt to make them something they are not and never will be, and there is no such thing as a "citizen journalist"

The Lookout
By Pueng Vongs

Social media was buzzing about a Boston-area high school teacher's blunt commencement speech that told students they "are not special."

Professional status must be earned, not pronounced
Wellesley High English teacher David McCullough Jr. told graduates "You are not special. You are not exceptional," quoting empirical evidence:

"Across the country no fewer than 3.2 million seniors are graduating about now from more than 37,000 high schools. That's 37,000 valedictorians ... 37,000 class presidents ... 92,000 harmonizing altos ... 340,000 swaggering jocks ... 2,185,967 pairs of Uggs," he said in the speech published in the Boston Herald.

He added: "Even if you're one in a million, on a planet of 6.8 billion that means there are nearly 7,000 people just like you."

McCullough makes a statement on parents who overdo it in a modern society focused on collecting achievements. "You've been pampered, cosseted, doted upon, helmeted, bubble wrapped ... feted and fawned over and called sweetie pie." But he adds in a video on Wellesley Channel TV YouTube page, "You see, if everyone is special, then no one is. If everyone gets a trophy, trophies become meaningless. ... We have of late, we Americans, to our detriment, come to love accolades more than genuine achievement."

FINALLY:  Teacher David McCullough Jr. tells it like it is
McCullough's address does push students to recognize real achievement: "The fulfilling life, the distinctive life, the relevant life is an achievement," and he encourages graduates "to do whatever you do for no reason other than you love it and believe in its importance."

Many expressed their approval of the message on Twitter:

This is awesome. I don't remember my HS commencement speech. I think I would remember this one. — S.L. Gray

Fantastic speech which sums up the neglected duty of so many Americans in 1 phrase: "Be worthy of your advantages." — Benjamin Yee

The greatest commencement speech ever. — Neil Raden

"Damn... Does this mean I can't be a "citizen" neurosurgeon now?"

My new hero. Tells grads "You're not that Special ... when everyone gets a trophy, the trophy doesn't mean anything." — Jason Dobrolecki

The Boston Herald also reported that McCullough's words were very well received by attendees. The teacher, a father of four, admitted he's guilty of the actions he pokes fun at in his speech.

But near the end of the address he says, "The sweetest joys of life, then, come only with the recognition that you're not special. Because everyone is."
