Obama Executive ‘Order’: US Can Seize Any Person, Any Resource, Any Time

Are Americans even remotely aware of what is coming down the pike at full speed and directly at them; there will be no more discussion of a draft now; martial law almost a certainty

“A mere demarcation on parchment of the constitutional limits (of government) is not a sufficient guard against those encroachments which lead to a tyrannical concentration of all the powers of government in the same hands.” - James Madison, Federalist Paper #48, 1788.
President Obama signed an Executive Order for "National Defense" yesterday that claims executive authority to seize all US resources and persons, including during peacetime, for self-declared "national defense."

The EO claims power to place any American into military or "allocated" labor use (analysis here and here).

"American exceptionalism" is the belief that a 200+ year-old parchment in the National Archives has magical powers to somehow guarantee limited government from 1% tyranny, despite the specific and clear warnings of the US Founders, despite world history of repeated oligarchic/1% tyranny claiming to be for the "good of the people," and despite US history’s descent into vicious psychopathy (short version here: US war history in 2 minutes) hidden in plain view with paper-thin corporate media propaganda.

I don't know about you, but both my grandfathers were in the US military during the gruesome WW1. My father, father-in-law, and only uncle were in a brutal WW2. Both wars were functions of colonialism; a 1%'s vicious and rapacious greed.

Now, we’re all looking at WW3 that includes official policy and dark rhetoric for US first-strike use of nuclear weapons on Iran. This, after multiple current lie-started and treaty-violating wars surrounding Iran, increased US military preparations, multiple war-propagandizing US political “leaders,” and recent history of US overthrowing Iran’s democracy and 35 consecutive years of US war on Iran that killed over one million Iranians.

I don't know about you, but I'm teaching the obvious crimes in war and money, destruction of Constitutional Rights rights (see specific links below), and asking students (of all ages) what they see to do about these clear facts. The first answer people see is to help people get over their "American exceptionalism" to recognize these massive crimes, and demand arrests of the obvious criminal "leadership."

I don't know about you, but I refuse to be silent in face of lying and criminal government policies that annually murder millions, harm billions, and loot trillions of the 99%'s dollars.

What will you do?

Here is the US government claiming it can Constitutionally assassinate Americans upon the non-reviewable dictate of the leader, as these criminals take psychopathic steps to murder Americans who expose their crimes.

Here is NDAA 2012 where US government claims it can Constitutionally disappear Americans and then appoint a tribunal with death sentence authority (unless unlimited detention is their choice). Here is the 2006 Military Commissions Act that says the same. This is fascist terrorism to silence Americans from communicating that the 1% are War Criminals to arrest NOW.

Here is US government claiming it can Constitutionally control-drown (waterboard) anyone they declare a “terrorist” as a 1% terror-tactic to silence Americans.

Again, what will you do?

Things Americans Are Doing Just To Survive; Obama Homeless Children Genocide in Full Swing

These "adaptations" will look positively regal to Americans in the near future if Obama, corporations have their way; upshot:  Robotic, desensitized, porn and dope addled U.S. citizens will take anything from Satanic Obama government, corporations, drug companies as long as they can keep filthy, stinking tents, cheap beer, Doritos, TV's, NASCAR, American Idol

Pakalert Press

You might not want to read this article if you have a weak stomach. Most Americans have absolutely no idea what is going on in the dark corners of America, and when people find out the truth it can come as quite a shock. Many of you will not believe some of the things Americans are doing just to survive. Some families are living in sewers and drain tunnels, some families are living in tents, some families are living in their cars, some families will make ketchup soup for dinner tonight and some families are even eating rats. Some homeless shelters in America are so overloaded that they are actually sending people out to live in the woods. As you read this, there are close to 50 million Americans that are living below the poverty line, and that number rises a little bit more every single day. America was once known as the greatest nation on earth, but now there is decay and economic despair almost everywhere you look. Yes, money certainly cannot buy happiness, but the lack of it sure can bring a lot of pain. As the economy continues to decline, the suffering that we see all around us is going to get a lot worse, and that is a very frightening thing to think about.

Sacramento, USA cop evicting disabled, homeless woman from tent camp

Those of us that still live comfortably are often completely unaware of what life is like out on the streets of America at this point.

There are millions upon millions of Americans that have lost all hope and that are living on the very edge of life and death.

A disabled man in same camp also being evicted:  Where will poor go from here

And more join the ranks of the hopeless with each passing day. This upcoming weekend approximately 80,000 people in the state of Michigan will lose their unemployment benefits.

So what are those people going to do after that?

Welcome to Obama's corporate paradise:  America, land of never-ending poverty

They have already been unable to find work month after month. Their savings are most certainly gone. Now the only money they had coming in is going to be eliminated.

Yes, I have written many times about how the U.S. government is absolutely drowning in debt and cannot afford to be giving out so much money. My point here is to show the other side of the equation. There are millions upon millions of Americans that are barely hanging on and there are no jobs for them. The suffering that those families are going through is very real.

Satanic corporations now hold total power over America

Millions of other families are trying to get by on the incomes they pull in from part-time jobs. According to Gallup, the percentage of Americans that are working part-time jobs but that would like full-time jobs is now higher than it has been at any other time in the last two years. The number of the “working poor” just continues to increase, but most Americans don’t have much sympathy for them because they “have jobs”.

Well, when you are making 8 bucks an hour it can be incredibly tough to make it from month to month.

Homelessness now criminalized in most large cities, moving toward total illegalization

Just look at how much it costs to buy the basic things that we need.

Without gasoline, most of us would not even be able to get to our jobs. The price of gasoline has increased 83 percent since Barack Obama first took office, and it is poised to soar even higher. Right now, the average price of a gallon of gasoline in the United States is $3.51. Never before has the average price of gas gone above $3.50 so early in the year. Many believe that we could set a new all-time record this summer.

But last year was bad enough. In 2011, the average American family spent over $4,000 on gasoline.

Obama, Cities, States committing genocide against eldely homeless

So when you are making just a few hundred dollars per week, it can be a massive struggle just to put gas in your car and food on the table.

The article that I wrote the other day about the decline of Detroit really struck a nerve. All over America, people can see similar things happening to their own neighborhoods. People are scared and they want some answers.

Child mortality and disease rates are already climbing; long vanquished diseases making comeback:  TB, polio on rise again

Well, the truth is that we should have never allowed tens of thousands of businesses, millions of jobs and trillions of dollars of our national wealth to be shipped out of the country.

Just check out this stunning photo which compares the decline of Detroit to the rise of Shanghai, China.

Do you think that it is just a coincidence that Detroit is falling apart and that cities in China look sparkly and new?

No, the truth is that it is a natural consequence of our foolish economic policies.

There are hundreds of communities all over the country where third world conditions are setting in. For example, the following is how one blogger describes what life is like in a decaying suburb of Phoenix called Maryville….

Crime and gangs are widespread. Most houses have either fallen into disrepair, or been remade with outside walls sporting spikes and ironwork. Many of the front lawns are now just dirt (or worse, gravel), the pools green and lethal.

Now we stand on the precipice of another major global financial crisis. Economic conditions in America are going to become significantly worse. The politicians in Washington D.C. may make sure that the boys and girls on Wall Street are always taken care of, but there will be no bailouts for the large numbers of Americans that are about to lose their jobs and their homes.

If you want an idea of what is coming, just look at what is happening in Greece. 25 percent of the businesses have shut down, one-third of all money has been pulled out of Greek bank accounts and unemployment and poverty are absolutely rampant.

For years, a lot of prominent voices out there were screaming and yelling about the dangers posed by our soaring trade deficits and our soaring budget deficits.

But the American people did not listen. They just kept sending the same politicians back to Washington D.C. over and over.

As a result, soon millions of those same Americans will find themselves doing things that they never dreamed that they would do just to survive.

Indonesia Police Shoot Dead Suspected Militants on Bali

Tortured Bali can't shake decade of problems - could Western "culture" of depravity be responsible

Arab News

03/19/2012

JAKARTA: Indonesian counter-terrorism police have shot dead five men suspected of planning a series of attacks on the resort island of Bali, scene of a night-club bombing in 2002 which killed about 200 people, media reported on Monday.*

Police counter-terror unit Detachment 88 stormed two separate addresses on Bali, in the capital Denpasar and at a hotel in Sanur, on Sunday night, Australian media said, quoting Australian Associated Press (AAP).

Three men were killed at the hotel in Sanur, an area popular with foreign tourists, and two at the Denpasar location.

AAP quoted police as saying the raids had been linked and that those killed had resisted arrest or tried to escape.

Jalan Legian 10/13/2002

Firearms and ammunition were recovered from both addresses, but Bali Police spokesman Hariadi declined to say if any explosives had been discovered.

AAP quoted another senior police officer as saying, on condition of anonymity, that it was possible the group had been planning to carry out attacks on Thursday, the eve of Nyepi, or the annual Day of Silence marking Bali's Hindu New Year.

Balinese traditionally hold large parades on the eve of Nyepi, which also draw large numbers of tourists, AAP said.

The killings follow the start of a trial last month of an Islamic militant accused of making the bombs used in the 2002 Bali nightclub attack, many of the Australians.

Umar Patek, who was captured in the same Pakistan town where U.S. forces killed Osama bin Laden, is also accused of mixing chemicals for 13 bombs that detonated in five churches in Jakarta on Christmas Eve, 2000, and killed around 15 people.

Jalan Legian, Paddy Bar 10/13/2002

Security officials say he belonged to the banned Jemaah Islamiah group linked to al Qaeda.

The Bali bombs were a watershed for Indonesia, which has the world's largest Muslim population, forcing the secular state to confront the presence of violent militants on its soil.

The Other Side of Justice in Afghanistan : Has Time Run Out for Afghanistan and the US?

Indeed, time has run out: Illegal war needs to be brought to conclusive end; will world "leaders" finally get the hint from history that Afghanistan is unconquerable

The Majalla
By Helena and Tanya Goudsouzian
03/14/2012

When in October 1879 General Fredrick Roberts, commander of the occupying British army, delivered a condescending imperialist speech and ordered the public summary executions of Afghan rebels in front of the Bala Hissar Fortress in Kabul, he was employing a time-tested colonial tactic that had proved successful in neighboring India. But those public hangings, which were meant to quash the Afghan rebellion, only served to embolden the resistance, and as such, triggered the outbreak of the second Anglo-Afghan War (1878-1880), arguably the 19th century’s bloodiest showdown between British imperialist forces and armed Afghan tribesmen. The war concluded with a swift withdrawal of all British troops and the closure of Her Majesty’s embassy in Afghanistan.

General Fredrick Roberts
Foreign powers, time and again, have erred in equating the character of the Afghans with those of other nations. With entrenched codes of honor, conduct and justice that have governed their lives for millennia, the Afghan nation has proven to be a force to be reckoned with by the world’s most powerful armies throughout history. It is, more often than not, mundane events, which stand for countless past incidents built up over a period of time, that galvanize Afghanistan’s tribesmen to rise up against an oppressor in a matter of weeks, sometimes days.

The case of the as yet unnamed US soldier who went on a shooting rampage in Panjwai district of Kandahar on 12 March 2012, may become just such an incident if Washington and Kabul do not take swift, collective and decisive action in the coming days to quell the flare of popular emotion. Hot on the heels of the Quran burning episode, this latest incident, which resulted in the senseless massacre of 16 innocent Afghans, including nine children and two women, has struck a chord deep within the Afghan psyche. Many are angry, while others are disappointed. A careful reading of the public mood across the country may be summarized in these terms: “They have usurped our sovereignty, denigrated our religion, and now, our women and children are slaughtered in their beds by a foreign gunman.”

Contextualizing the fury

To appreciate the gravity and explosive potential of this incident, it is important to contextualize the fury of the Afghans as news of the incident spread. The Quran burning episode, less than a week before the shooting, was never explained to the Afghans. Numerous civilian killings have been dismissed by NATO and the US forces as “collateral damage.” Video footage of US soldiers urinating on Afghan corpses was quickly placed in abeyance and the results of US “investigations” into such occurrences were never shared with the Afghan public.

Afghan children killed in U.S. Predator drone strike

Today, few Afghans have faith in the American justice system. Suspicions run rampant that this soldier, like they have witnessed many others before him, will become an object of sympathy in US courts, be depicted as a brave young man who lost his mind fighting for his “homeland” overseas, and finally, let off with a slap on the wrist. Or worst yet, the soldier will walk free after pleading “temporary insanity”, as has happened in many cases before.

Battle of Kabul, 1897

Was it not only three years ago when a US soldier who shot dead an unarmed Afghan man, mutilated his body and sliced off his ears, was acquitted by jurors at Fort Bragg? Or more recently, last August, when a British soldier who killed a Taliban fighter, mutilated the corpse, and cut off his fingers as a souvenir to take back to his barracks, was handed a measly three year prison sentence? Was an Afghan life that cheap, just a pittance, and why was anyone astonished by the reaction of angry Afghans?

Dead Afghan children:  Why?
Moreover, there is the issue of US troop withdrawal in 2014 and America’s sudden shift in policy from fighting the Taliban to making peace with them. The cruel irony of America’s about-face is not lost on the average Afghan. For over a decade, the people of Afghanistan were asked to endure war and uncertainty for the sake of eradicating the scourge of the Taliban, with the promise of a stable, prosperous and democratic future. Ironically, and incomprehensibly for most, they are now asked to refrain from asking too many questions as the United States tries to broker a quick deal with the very “scourge” it failed to defeat, and if possible, to lead it back into power.

The people of Afghanistan no longer have faith in any American goodwill. Indeed, Washington’s cavalier attitude to numerous egregious incidents of civilian deaths have fueled the popular Afghan perception of Americans as imperialists no different from Britain’s General Roberts not so long ago.

Rumsfeld claims he doesn't know why
In fact, the systematic alienation of the Afghan people, most notably those in the volatile south, would inevitably result in the empowerment of the Taliban. Armed with greater leverage in the Qatar negotiations, the Taliban, now a legitimate bargaining partner, will have no trouble in discrediting the feeble Afghan government and the entire post-Taliban system. Consequently, few ought to be surprised when the nation is provoked to rise up against the US and the international community, and chaos may well ensue with dire consequences for average Afghans. It would not be unreasonable to foresee a Vietnam-style scenario, with soldiers hanging on the sides of helicopters as US troops and personnel flee Afghanistan, leaving the country once again to become a safe haven for militant international terrorist groups. In essence, such a possibility would mark the start of a denouement that would bring Afghanistan back to square one.

Damage control

Given such dangers, a heartfelt apology from US President Barack Obama is hardly enough when the patience of the Afghan nation is saturated and the United States is increasingly viewed as an enemy rather than an ally. In certain quarters, Afghans have been invoking Islamic justice, i.e “an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth”. Others have called for the US soldier to be tried on Afghan soil, in Afghan courts, in the hope of obtaining a death penalty.

Roberts' Quartermaster-General's Group, February 1880
If the fallout from this latest incident is to be limited, the US and Afghan governments must act swiftly and decisively. Afghan President Hamid Karzai and his government must work cohesively to dispel popular Afghan illusions that the trial of the soldier can be held on Afghan soil, as this contravenes US military law. Karzai has, on numerous occasions in the past, delivered anger-provoking rhetoric as his personal relations with Washington have taken a turn for the worse, but it is not the time now to adopt this approach.

Both the US and Afghan governments must wage a multi-pronged campaign to appease the public and quell rising anti-American sentiments. The US government, for its part, must waste no time in holding a very public and transparent judicial process, if, as Washington professes, it genuinely seeks to control the potential fallout from this act of brutality.

War criminals Bush, Blair give each other "peace" awards
Time is of the essence, for unlike past instances, justice must no longer be a dragged out affair, with results announced months or years later. What’s more, a public trial ending with the maximum punitive sentence within US law for such a crime must be upheld to assure Afghans that Washington values Afghan lives just as much as any other.

A day after the shooting, there were already protests sweeping across southern and eastern Afghanistan, the most volatile regions of the country. Rogue elements abound throughout this war-ravaged country and neighboring states are waiting to grasp the opportunity to foment further unrest and expedite NATO’s withdrawal.

As the American President and the British Prime Minister meet in Washington for talks, it might be useful to look back on the legacy of General Frederick Roberts in Afghanistan and the perils of repeating mistakes of the past.

Mossad ‘agrees with U.S.’ on Iran nuclear goals

Mossad has always agreed with U.S. on illegal killings

Agence France-Presse
03/18/2012

Israel’s intelligence service Mossad agrees with US assessments there is no hard evidence that Iran has decided to build a nuclear bomb, even though Israeli leaders have talked about Tehran’s plans to acquire nuclear weapons, The New York Times reported.

CIA, Mossad
“Their people ask very hard questions, but Mossad does not disagree with the US on the weapons program,” the newspaper quoted an unnamed former senior US intelligence official as saying.

“There is not a lot of dispute between the US and Israeli intelligence communities on the facts,” the former official said.

The Times reported last month that the latest assessments by US spy agencies are broadly consistent with a 2007 intelligence finding that concluded that Iran had abandoned its nuclear weapons program.

According to Saturday’s report, US spy agencies have spent years trying to track Iranian efforts to enrich uranium and develop missile technology, and they are watching for any move toward weaponization.

While the National Security Agency eavesdrops on telephone conversations of Iranian officials and conducts other forms of electronic surveillance, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency analyzes radar imagery and digital images of nuclear sites, the paper noted.

Outside analysts believe high-tech drones prowl over secret Iranian installations, The Times pointed out.

Mossad, CIA:  It's all the same

Meanwhile, clandestine ground sensors, which can detect electromagnetic signals or radioactive emissions that could be linked to covert nuclear activity, are placed near suspect Iranian facilities, according to the report.

The United States also relies heavily on information gathered by inspectors with the International Atomic Energy Agency who visit some of Iran’s nuclear-related facilities, The Times said.

Kandahar Massacre Revenge for Attack on US troops: Afghan Report

Obama, Panetta, Clinton, State Department, DoD, "mainstream media"lackeys all scrambling to cover this up

PRESS TV
03/18/2012

The head of the Afghan parliamentary investigation, Sayed Ishaq Gillani, said the locals suspect that the slaughter of the Afghan civilians was carried out in revenge for an attack which destroyed an American tank last week.

What is the TRUE story behind this image?
Earlier on Monday, the Afghan tribal leaders of Kandahar province also said that the carnage was in retaliation against the bomb attack on the US tank in the Zangabad region in Panjwaii district in the province of Kandahar.

Following the blast, the American forces summoned local Afghans and tribal leaders of the region and vowed a bloody revenge on their children and wives, the Kandahar tribal leaders added.

The new findings came in the wake of an earlier report by the team, which suggested that the American troopers also raped two female victims of the massacre before killing them.

The investigation mission also implicated up to 20 US soldiers in the carnage. “We are convinced that one soldier cannot kill so many people in two villages within one hour at the same time, and the 16 civilians, most of them children and women, have been killed by the two groups,” investigator Hamizai Lali said.

Sergeant Robert Bales, one of the soldiers accused of involvement in the massacre of Afghan civilians, was flown from a temporary military prison in Kuwait to a maximum security cell in Fort Leavenworth in the US state of Kansas. The transfer of the US soldier outraged the Afghan people, who demanded the public trial of the perpetrators of the heinous act in their country.

And what is this?

Earlier on Friday, Afghanistan’s President Hamid Karzai criticized the United States for not cooperating with the Afghan fact-finding team and said the killing of the civilians by foreign forces in Afghanistan “has been going on for too long.”

On March 11, a group of US soldiers went from house to house in Kandahar’s Panjwaii district and gunned down Afghan civilians inside their homes, killing at least 16 people, mostly women and children, and injuring several others.
